But everything about this beam struggle is over the top. This has got to be biggest kamehameha waves I've ever seen clashing against each other and if Gohan loses everyone dies and the planet blows up immediately.
But I can understand the view that Faulconer's music doesn't work for many of the non-action scenes.
(Also just wanna put in that I think the Buu Saga actually had much better writing than the Android/Cell Saga. )
Good point about Cell though. You're right he is but it's less cool and lamer.

Hey you thread, I'm real happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but Dameon Clarke is the best Cell there's ever fucking been.
Oh. You don't believe me?
Well then.
Beat it!
And take your planet with you!
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI'm pretty sure all songs on the Funi soundtrack are licensed.
It's one thing the Funi dub got a lot of flack for (from people who deride it as trying to make Dragon Ball too hardcore) but I thought they actually sounded really good. And as sophisticated as you may try and make yourself sound, people are still punching each other to death in the show. A bit of rock isn't going to make it any more barbaric.
Yeah, rock is perfectly fine for Dragon Ball. Don't believe me?
"I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY MY WOOOOOOOORLD!"
For Broly, putting rock music almost works, considering it's pretty much a bad fanfiction of the character fighting everyone's Original Character Villain.
I didn't realise that the guy who created Broly is just as much of a Broly fanboy as actual members of the fanbase.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!
x5 Because he's strong.
Nothing about being worthy in the original. The game Shin Budokai Another Road says it's a destiny thing, so present Gohan can't lift it in Future Trunks' timeline (future Gohan is the destined one there). But that game is also completely nonsense.
It's not that bad in the actual movies. Broly isn't really any more overpowered than other villains in their own movie, he's just a lot less subtle about it. It's really the fact that he gets so many repeated appearances and Koyoma has to bring him up all the time that's the problem.

...Did you just call me a bitch?
...I do love the hair.
I think she should be taller and more broad shouldered and muscley though.
Her arms are too noodley.

No, Vegeta. It's a reference to a Nicki Minaj
◊ quote became a small meme.
To be fair, if you just changed their sex and literally nothing else then you would only know about if they were nude.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

Cell is a petty character in my opinion. I mean, as soon as he loses his Perfect form, he tries to blow up the Earth. But again, just my interpretation.
Schemel's performance does sound slightly weaker, but it still works.
And the musical change...OK, I'm probably gonna be shot for this, but I think Falconer's score tries too hard to sound EPIC. It comes off as being over-the-top and unnecessary.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
