Her hair would have a power level over.....
You know, that one high number that everyone is over now.
One Strip! One Strip! If Pan's hair combined her grandpa's and her uncle's, it would be like a giant sponge and when she took a bath and dried her hair it would puff up like huuuuuge
EDIT: Look at my hair. Pan should have hair like Steven.

My various fanfics.I've heard it said that DBZ's anime is incredibly slow-paced. Considering I'm nearing the end of the pre-Z content and that I will utterly refuse to skip an episode, I'd like to know how true this is.
I am aware of the Frieza battle that lasts a really long time (exactly how long I'm not sure) but otherwise I don't know of any particular events that last a really long time. Through the pre-Z content I did get a little irritated with some bits (Goku in that weird town with Arale in particular caught me off guard-I was rather glad when he left) but never to the point where I wanted to stop watching. I found the fights in the World Martial Arts Tournaments (or at least the two I've seen so far) pretty entertaining, despite the fact that they probably could have been condensed into about half the length they actually were. With this in mind, will I enjoy watching DBZ despite its slow pace?
And no, I will not watch Kai. It's all or nothing for me.
When I'm not busy, I read fantasy, listen to power metal, play video games, write stories, & explore TV Tropes. A productive use of my time. The pacing isn't really that bad when you can watch it on a back 2 back basis.
Its being an 8 year old and having sit through week by week of the series, and then it goes on hiatus and rewinds back to the beginning of an arc before it moves on....that the pacing becomes unbearable.
Yes, growing with this series was a pain in the ass.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
When I was googling for the answer I found someone saying it was worse now than when growing up because marathoning became a chore. Huh. Since I try to watch one episode per day, though, I imagine I'll end up getting the best of both worlds. Thanks for the answer.
When I'm not busy, I read fantasy, listen to power metal, play video games, write stories, & explore TV Tropes. A productive use of my time.Older Goku didn't become reluctant to kill people because he takes things less seriously, he became reluctant because when he didn't kill Piccolo Jr, who was spawned from pure evil, Piccolo Jr ended up saving his son. Yes, there were also selfish, spiteful and misguided reasons for not killing opponents but Piccolo Jr is the root of it all.
I'm still waiting for Vegeta to have nearly as big an impact on Goku's characterization. But I will say one thing for Vegeta that thanks to the magic of numerical power levels there wasn't a single enemy stronger than Saiyan Saga Vegeta up until Freeza himself showed up. At 180,000, Werewolf Monkey Vegeta's raw power exceeded Captain Ginyu, which would have forced Ginyu to use body change, as that was the same power level Goku's Kaioken produced on Namek. No Freeza soldier besides Ginyu would have been a match for Werewolf Monkey Vegeta, it's no wonder Freeza feared a saiyan uprising. Add in rumors of a form even more powerful than werewolf monkey and monkeys had to die. I think Beerus also wanting them dead was really more of a coincidence than an order.

It's still pretty bad, some of that filler stuff can be pretty terrible...especially from the Namek stuff.
If I could marathon it again, I'd probably sit through that stuff again for a legit run, due to increased patience.
As a kid, almost all filler stuff that wasn't from the Buu saga = skipped
I don't really cringe, it was just boring.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. You're the only one here who is close to bitching. And on top of that, being totally unfair in your description of others.
Wanting to see some things differently doesn't mean we don't like the series, that's just ridiculous. And usually it seems like things are being completely civil until you come in and need to make a stink about it.
Oh Saiga, you had all this time to think up a retort and all you came up with was "NO U!"?
But, you are right. It's terribly unkind of me to interrupt your, uh brainstorming sessions. You need some place to vent your frustrations with the show. So please feel free to continue, and I won't make fun of you for it... much. So now calm down, put down the torches and pitchforks you've been preparing against me and go back to what you are normally doing.

@S Lthethird: The Z part of the show brings a lot of needless staring contests and flashbacks (I once turned on my TV in the middle of an episode, and it took me 5 minutes to realise I was seeing a condensed flashback), so feel free to skip through those scenes.
The filler episodes are usually fine, though. Sometimes there's OOC or plotholes, but almost nothing I would call boring.

In this day and age, when some of the really popular anime like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Kateyko, and Gintama push upwards of 200-300 episodes, I find that funny.
