Yes to this. I mean, yeah 18 is stronger than Krillin, but making the fact is, no matter what she does, she'd be a better choice than him (staying behind and guarding Marron or going to fight).
I hate her being cut out of the fight, but I'd hate Krillin to be left behind as well, since....well, that's been happening to him for a long time.
The series could deal with two problems in one. Leave Marin with Bulma's family, along with Goten, Trunks, and Buu, with the caveat that if any soldiers get past them, those three will protect her and everyone else at the Capsule corp. It's keeps Goten and Trunks away from the battle (one has the face of the dude Frieza wants to kill, the other has the face of the one who killed him, so it's a bad idea for them to go there) gives Buu something to do, and frees up both 18 and Krillin to go to the Frieza fight.
One Strip! One Strip!I wouldn't care too much if Freeza beats Gohan in his first form, but for gods sake can we at least let him keep Ultimate or even SSJ 2? It's the first and only time a character has flat-out lost a more powerful form. And I find it ridiculous.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I think it's just another spit in the face to Gohan fans. Roshi of all people calls him out for not training in the movie. Like he's doing anything better.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Ultimate is not a transformation. It is his base state risen up to his theoretical SS 3 peak power.

Actually, judging from how he fared in the battle, he was doing better.
I guess Roshi kept training at some point in the series. I doubt it was something recent, but it must have been enough to allow him to not die right away.
One Strip! One Strip! No, it's Gohan at his maximum potential. SSJ 3 doesn't enter into it.

Yeah. It's Gohan with every bit of his hidden power unleashed.
The thing is, there was no reason for them to start nerfing him. I mean, since it's a magical power up, they didn't need to reduce his power, and just have it that he's always at his maximum.
Then again, I don't recall Old Kai saying he'd always be that way, but considering the God power makes goku stronger, there was no reason to suddenly nerf Gohan.
I know there are gonna be a million jokes about how he's useless anyway, or something along those lines, but it doesn't change the fact that Gohan was shortchanged when it was unnecessary.
One Strip! One Strip!I get it, Toei wanted a Super Saiyan in the movie who didn't have blue hair. But they shat on an already-established character to do it.
Gohan didn't train for 7 years and didn't even lose SSJ 2. (I think. I mean, he doesn't use in most of the Buu Saga, but at least they say he has it.) Now in less time he's lost two transformations? It makes no sense whatsoever.
And if they're carrying it over to Super, it implies he's not going to do anything once we move past this. Because he's too weak to matter.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! That's exactly the point. Even if they wanted Goku and Vegeta to be the main fighters there's no reason to nerf Gohan, since power levels moved past him regardless. He was outclassed even with his Ultimate power up so there's no reason to take it away. It's be like splitting Kami and Piccolo again after Sayians trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber - they were stronger anyway, so what's the point?
Ultimate is stronger than SSJ 3, though. Way stronger.
And yes, they don't say he lost SSJ 2, but he never uses it. When everyone powers up to maximum for Goku to find them, Gohan only goes SSJ. Making us assume that's the most powerful he can go.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!~sigh~
Theoretical maximum potential Gohan (from training with SS 3) = Post-potential unlocked base Gohan.

We could talk about how many months it took for Frieza to power up.
Or we could discuss Power Levels?
Or we could accept the fact that this thread is pretty circular in its topics sometimes?
One Strip! One Strip!Unfortunately, this is a plot point that's going to keep bugging me until it's addressed in Super. And if Super keeps it...I don't know. I'm going to rant somewhere. Maybe not here.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Gohan should train for four months to increase his power level by Yamcha x Tien>Krillin, then learn the Neo Tri-Beam since it's powerful enough to halt Cell at Tien's level and thus nuke Beerus at Gohan's new power level, and then Gohan will use his new power to make Chi-Chi and Bulma have a lesbian make-out while Toei Roshi watches and Goku slaps Gohan cause he's a bad father followed by Pan going Super Saiyan out of sheer rage from all this.
Hail Satan.

I'd prefer it if Krillin's fears were justified and Freeza Soldiers attacked the city and 18 has to protect Marron by killing them. Remember: 18 may be strong, but she doesn't even like fighting.
