Actually, speaking of Resurrection F, there's one little bit that I didn't quite get — when Frieza talked about doing training, he made a big deal about being able to raise his PL to 1 million and more. WHY was this a big deal? When his final form was 130 million anyway?

I agree.
I also want a repeat of Vegeta's Super Saiyan speech, only this time, he lives up to his own hype.
I think I wrote a post about what I wanted him to say in the Abridged thread. I'l have to dig it up.
One Strip! One Strip!
And now, so do I.
It was actually Frieza who I wrote as doing most of the speech.
You know, I'm hoping Super extends their version of the Frieza vs God Vegeta fight, with a few purposeful parallels to their Fight' (and we all know that's a generous way to describe it) on Namek.
Just so that TFS has more to work with and can have fun with it.
One Strip! One Strip! The way I remember Freeza, was talking about raising his power level to 100 something billion. Either way, he was talking about his first form, which till then had a power level of 530,000(powa powa POWA powa powa powa!). Akira Toriyama, hopefully as a joke, stated Golden Freeza had a power level of Quintilian something in an interview. Anyway, to the claim Dragon Ball hasn't done unique abilities, does Beerus have prophetic dreams? Can Whis turn back time? Those aren't unique enough for you?
Buldogue's lawyer
Those do count, but they can't really be used in combat. Or at least, they are so strong they don't need to use them in a fight.
One Strip! One Strip! So I've finally seen Resurrection "F".
It's... okay. The best parts of the movie where anything with Beerus, Whis, or Jaco and Krillin at the beginning. Oh, and Shenron.
Goku VS Freeza was honestly almost boring. It had its moments, namely the bit where Goku is dealing with Freeza's ki blasts, but it had none of the energy of Goku VS Beerus. I'm also completely unimpressed by Super Saiyan Blue since even Super Saiyan 3 had an extremely memorable first appearance. Now, Vegeta VS Freeza was awesome. His transformation had a buildup (unlike Goku's) and his display was incredible and worthy of a new transformation (even if it was only due to Freeza running out of energy). Count me in with the crowd that thinks Vegeta should have killed Freeza.
It's not a bad movie by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn't call it good, either. I think I'll rewatch Battle of Gods soon.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That was one of those awesome moments. Like I said, the fight had its moments but it's nothing like Goku VS Beerus where I'm on the edge of m seat from start to finish.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Screw Whis, we are not calling it that.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I'm actually really excited for Super's retelling of RF. One thing I think Super did much better over BOG was the fight between Goku and Beerus (besides Episode 12. But I'm trying to selectively forget that episode exists now.)
I also agree, Goku vs Golden Freeza didn't really feel like anything. It was just a lot of punching and a lot of randomly throwing people to the ground.
So Super has a lot they can improve on. (Well, that and the power level inconsistencies.)
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!

Boss Rabbit plz.
