battle of god's extended cut puts a kibosh in that theory, saying that even fusion wouldn't be enough to even make Beerus try.
But a fusion with God power....
Well, we'll see if Toriyama even considers it, but Goku and Vegeta's refusal to work together makes it clear that he probably won't.
One Strip! One Strip!Daimao isn't the franchise original sin. Those elements you discussed go back at least to the RRA arc if not earlier.
Daimao is where the series grew the beard. To me, it's easily one of the best arcs and Daimao is a great villain.
Ten's first jobbing being in that arc isn't because this is where those trends started, it's because this is the first arc after his introduction.
On Weak, but Skilled - Dragon Ball doesn't spit on it, it just doesn't include examples of it. Because you can only make Weak, but Skilled work if you're compared to Unskilled, but Strong characters - and that doesn't apply to Goku.
He is a skilled fighter himself, so if you're only comparable to his skill level of course you'd need comparable strength.

Goku's the Lightning Bruiser. Whatever you excel at, he has that and more.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Pretty much Saiga.
I also agree with you about the Daimou Arc.
Right. From now one we should institute a rule that whenever Power Levels are brought up, we randomly attack one troper until it stops. That way, everyone will be scared to do it for fear of being that troper.
It's brutal, but I'm convinced it will be effective.
One Strip! One Strip!I suspected something like that would happen.
You know what?
Fine. Cause after I eventually die, you'll either have to stop, or choose someone else.
Getting back into God Vegetto, if it does happen, it won't be against Beerus. Goku and Vegeta won't use it for that due to bullshit Saiyan Pride, plus Beerus isn't really an enemy anymore, so they won't need to fight him.
What they need is an enemy who forces them past the Godzilla Threshold the way Buu did. That's the only way it will happen.

Or, in a hilarious bit of irony, a Jawbreaker.
I could see both Goku and Vegeta face-palming.

One Strip! One Strip!

We've all been wondering that one (and by we, I mean me).
But we will probably never find out, because Vegeta and Goku made it pretty clear they don't want to work together if they don't have to (and Vegeta might be more reluctant even if they absolutely had to).
