Ironic, as Fist Of The North Star is all about combining both brute strength and skill with Hokuto Shinken.
Of course, Kenshiro is tiny compared to all the giant King Kong sized bandits in his series, yet destroys like they are nothing.
Watch SymphogearThere was a Weak, but Skilled Villain. His name was Guildo.
So the King Piccolo Arc was the Franchise Original Sin. It makes sense, between that and King Piccolo being the first villain with a Super Form.

Its rather hilarious how close he came to killing Krillin and Gohan and then Vegeta is all "NOPE".
But yea, I don't think that would have worked; Goku & Vegeta's battle senses are so good, gimmicks probably wouldn't even effect them. Hell, I think the only reason Guldo came so close is because Krillin and Gohan just had no idea what he could do.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Fun fact: Even had Krillin hit Freeza multiple times with the Kienzan... it still wouldn't have killed him. Remember: Trunks chopped him to pieces and he was still alive until he got vaporized. And he was cut in half and he still survived Namek's explosion plus exposure to Space.
So, all it would've done is piss Freeza off to the point he'd probably quit screwing around and detonate the planet from under him immediately to make damn sure everything there is fucking dead.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariBasically everything that people complain about in Z is present in the Piccolo Daimaou Saga. That's where the tone shift happened.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Every time we discuss Power Creep I think to myself how much I dread the inevitable day Beerus and Whis job.
Beerus and Whis have been fairing pretty good so far; usually when Goku gets a new power up, he generally climbs above everyone else. But nope, after getting Super Saiyan God, Beerus still doesn't need to go all out to win. And Whis is stronger than that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And it's implied that even after training with Whis, Goku and Vegeta in their SSGSS forms would still need to team up just to fight Beerus at 100%.
Watch SymphogearWhich is weird, because aren't their SSGSS forms fifty times stronger than their SSG forms? And Beerus needed eighty percent of his power to fight SSG Goku?
My various fanfics. So, I do want to point out that provided he can get a lock on their Ki, Goku's Instant Transmission is faster than Whis.
That's pretty impressive.
One Strip! One Strip!

I do say I like Nappa, though; it's not often you see a Brute-type character in a shonen with as good a combat record as his, something that has to do with, I'm told, Values Dissonance as to the Japanese ideal of "strength." Though Nappa's arguably too smart to be a standard shonen brute.
