Exactly.
It all comes back to making them too strong on Namek.
If not for that, there'd be no need to make all subsequent enemies stronger. There could have been other ways to make them threats. The Androids had no Ki, some could drain energy, some didn't get tired, etc, but once they powered up enough, it made little difference.
Skill is useless unless you're Power Level is ridiculously high.
.....Shit. I'm not saying anything new. This is pointless.
So, new ep of Super tomorrow. Any thoughts on what's coming up next in the series?
One Strip! One Strip!Freeza could've been 10x stronger...and Goku would lose the fight.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.........

I agree with both of these statements.
So basically, it's like the Spirit Bomb killing Buu. I hate what it caused, but I still like that it happened.

One Strip! One Strip! On the other hand, it's also hilarious how so many overzealous fans of dragon ball overrate the franchise compared to others in terms of being powerful.
Watch SymphogearThis is true.
I think it's been proven that Sailor Moon is more powerful than most of the Z Warriors.
One Strip! One Strip!Roshi is a Luna buster
Piccolo Jr. is a casual Luna buster
Vegeta is an Earth buster
1st Form Freeza is a (10x more mass than Earth) Planet Vegeta buster
Super Perfect Cell is a Solar System buster
Beerus is a Galaxy buster
DB isn't the strongest fictional 'verse but it is up there.

there is no proof to either of those last two, due to the fact Cell could have pulled it out of his ass, and was just bluffing (hell, even taking power levels and theoretical ones into considerationsn he probably was bluffing) and the Galaxy busting for Beerus was a mistranslation, I believe.
Sailor Moon, by its final arc, had characters like sailor galaxia and eternal sailor moon destroy planets without any form of Ki, just by pointing at them hard enough to explode (Something only Beerus is shown to have done in dragon ball to date) and yet Future Sailor Moon and Sailor chaos are immensely more powerful.
Goku playing around and having some fun with Monkey King Bambina would be nice to look at.

Watch SymphogearYou know, I think I'll finally be able to deal with Goku and Vegeta (and most Saiyans) being the only people that matter when I remember that Goku is the Monkey King.
We all know that dude was ridiculously OP, and the Saiyan race is just an entire race of Monkey Kings.
And re-call that the only human in that story (that Bulma was based on) was pretty useless, and it explains humans as a whole.
One Strip! One Strip! In the case of characters being phased in and out, why should Piccolo be any exception? Phasing him out of combat was one of the best things for him. Even if it weren't, there's still no reason to show him preferential treatment over anyone else.
It should be pretty obvious that you can't please everyone. A series should not be adverse to change so that it does not alienate people.
Some people will like the older characters, some people will like the newer characters. It really doesn't matter.
The 22nd? Yes he was, Ten acknowledges that he was going to hit the ground before Goku. So Goku would have won without that truck, and saying Ten won on a technicality does not prove anything about his own merit.

Secondary characters are often preferred to the main character based on the assumption that they "have more depth" or "we don't know as much about them" without realizing the reason for those things is because they're secondary characters and thus we focus less on them by default.
A lot of people don't seem to grasp the concept of their favorite character not necessarily being a suitable main character.

Also, on this:
As much as I love the Ginyu Force, this is completely true. The only thing this has an effect is zenkai and Nail's beating, otherwise they end up in the exact same position - Vegeta, Gohan and Kuririn are the only heroes active and they want to use the Dragon Balls before Freeza arrives, while Goku is currently out of action but will join them soon.
And the zenkai were only needed to step up from the Ginyu Force's level to Freeza's. If you cut them out the characters could have already been strong enough to fulfill their roles in the Freeza battle, leaving the only change that Freeza has no scouter to find Nail. So if Nail just went and specifically stalled Freeza so the Earthling's could make their wish, you'd have that filled as well.
Again, though, I love the Ginyu Force. Part of the reason for my Piccolo vs Ginyu Force rewrite idea is so that the sequence doesn't resemble the Wacky Wayside Tribe effect so much.

Well, technically, Gohan had already been pushed out of the spotlight, but the bomb wasn't needed when they could have just brought him in to kill Buu (he'd have been stronger than Kid Buu). So it was just another way that he got shafter.
That being said, bringing all of Earth together, to create the bomb actually made it everyone's victory instead of just Goku's. More to the point, despite being hyped as the ultimate attack, the Spirit Bomb had never actually worked before, so seeing it finally do it's job was pretty cool.
And that's my two cents on the subject.
One Strip! One Strip!Thing about secondary characters compared to main characters is that the former have a whole bunch of speculation surrounding them that fans would want to see capitalized on, meanwhile we probably know everything there is to know about the main characters and would prefer a little focus shift for a change.
I can imagine how maddening it is for someone to be a fan of a character who will probably never get their due anymore (shout outs to all you Tien fans out there :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Oh, Dragon Ball is far from the most powerful 'verse out there, this is true, since there are a lot of series out there where the power escalation is often even more ludicrous than the one present in Dragon Ball, however, it's also by far not the most overhyped 'verse out there. No, that honor belongs to Harry Potter. I've seen Harry Potter fans insist that Harry Potter could take Negi Springfield in a fight.
It's also followed closely by Naruto.
Want to know what's the common factor between them?
Popularity with young audiences.
In particular, popularity with young audiences who identify way too closely with their favorite series and get into "my series could totally beat up your series!" debates with similar people.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari

Honestly, I think it's moreso annoyance at DBZ's "Quarterback Syndrome" where only one or two characters get real focus with fights.
