Regrowing limbs requires KI, which was fundamental to the setting by Piccolo Jr. What's harder to buy is Cell not only regrowing from a cell but returning in his perfect state and gaining power from the ordeal. Pretty sure that was the moment my dad quit Dragon Ball, other than to mock the rest of us for reading it or playing the video games.(though he managed to sit through the Bojack movie without talking over it too much or walking off. Maybe Bojack was how he thought Cell should have ended?)

Buldogue's lawyerThe energy the characters have is constantly increasing while their mass isn't. I interpreted Namekian healing getting better as they get stronger as being that they are healing the same amount of mass with the same Ki but their Ki grows.
If regenerating a lost arm costs 100 Power Level points of Ki than someone with a Power Level of 300 will be exhausted while that same someone with a Power Level of 3,000,000 will barely feel it.
So you get a creepy bug man from:
- Two races descended from Monkeys (with one even having tails and turning into were-monkeys)
- Slug people who are similar to plants as well
- Lizard mutants
.......
Yeah, I'm beginning to see some sense in the DBZ biology makes no sense argument.
One Strip! One Strip! You know, that thing about them fighting each other could be.....
No. No, they said it was storms, so probably not. Plus we all know the nameless Namek became evil from living on Earth.
One Strip! One Strip!Well well now, this week's episode was a HUGE improvement over the last two, with nary a bad key frame found. Kind of too bad though that Goku spent half of the episode messing around, as he's not used to the power of being a god yet. The "revenge" neck-chop and finger-flick from Goku to Beerus were hilarious though, but yeah, apparently Beerus can just erase minor injuries from himself if he wants.
Next seems to be more in line with the movie, as Goku FINALLY uses his God fire-aura, which was missing through this episode.

By the time Cell enters the picture, Saiyan zenkais are firmly established.
Or maybe they used to fight each other a lot in the past.
This. Also keep in mind that by the time we see Namek, everyone on it has been wiped out by a drought and Guru had to repopulate his race. Who's to say Namekians are the only species affected?
We're seeing the straggling survivors of an extinction event. It stands to reason that a lot of evolutionary traits won't necessarily line up with the handful of other species that survived.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.

I've been wondering why Namekians have teeth myself.
And I assume they also photosynthesize to a degree. Hence the green skin and living on a planet with perpetual sunlight. If you're gonna live on a planet constantly bombarded with sunlight you might as well evolve to utilize it.
Still doesn't explain where they get nutrients for body structure from, though. Unless they have nuclear fusion engines in their bellies that can synthesize carbon from water.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
