Toei's animation has gone to shit ever since they've started with computer generated models.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.People on the Kanzenshuu forums appear to be blaming this on the One Piece: Episode of Sabo TV special that airs on the 22nd.
I'm assuming most of the budget for this first arc is going to budgeting the SSG Goku vs Beerus fight, whish is why this looks like ass.
Again, I'd like to say the manga is not the canon story, the anime is. The manga is being made by the guy who helped make the Dragon Ball Heroes manga and that Dragon Ball AF doujinshi where Broly became an anti-hero and had some moments with Bra. It also had Goku merging with Omega Shenron to become Sheron. Whereas Toriyama is helping to make the anime, which the manga is an adaptation of.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Intriguing use of the word "nearly" in that sentence, Uchiha Rob.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySince Super is a recreation of Battle of Gods, does it really matter at this point? Do the Super manga/anime diverge at any point, genuinely asking. I thought the manga was only up to 2 chapters currently and so far they've both featured Beerus being a dick to random alien species, Champa and Wine shadowing him, and Goku fighting Beerus.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
I was at my local animethon again today, when I heard this and remembered better days.
I still hate Naruto, I just acknowledge that there are still things about it I like as well (that would be better if they were somewhere else).
One Strip! One Strip!Even if you hate Naruto, you've gotta admit that the music can be pretty damn amazing.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Would someone please clear up something for me?
In the seventh universe, how many galaxies are there supposed to be? I have heard different things from different sources.
I know each Kai oversees their own galaxy which would imply four galaxies. Yet, once upon a time their were four supreme kais who reported to the Grand Supreme Kai. I thought I remember hearing that each superme kai was in charge of a different section of the universe and each section had four galaxies. That would make sixteen galaxies total. These other galaxies were supposed to have been destroyed in Majin-Buu's original rampage along with the other supreme kais.
If this is not true and each supreme kai was in charge of a galaxy...what was the point of the lesser kais if each one of them were in charge of a galaxy? Were they meant to be more like personal assistants? Do the work while the kais relax? Sounds kind of redundant.
That map of the universe implies there's only four lesser Kais, actually.
The "god watch over planets, Kais watch over galaxies, Kaoishin watch over section of the universe" model seems to have been done away with in favor of "gods watch over planets, Kais watch over galaxies, Kaoishin create planets, gods of destruction destroy them."
edit:Beerus has a weird English voice.

If by "weird" you mean "the best" then I agree completely.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Beerus permanently sounds like he just woke up, that's kind of the point with him.
Being a cat and all.
Hell, him greeting you with "Morning" every time you meet him in Xenoverse is probably the most hilariously fitting of all greetings.

I have a message from another time...Just re-watched some clips of old school Dragon Ball:
- Roshi trying to seal King Piccolo with the Evil Containment Wave/Mafuba.
- We've gone over it before, but I really do think some of the best techniques are the ones that don't at all rely on pure power: The Mafuba has the drawback of killing whoever uses it (only Tien has survived using it, though Kami and Piccolo can do so as well, but only if they use it against the other, which is a moot point since Kami is Piccolo now); Solar Flare/Taiyouken, has been repeated stated to be one of the most useful techniques in the whole series, getting used up until the Cell Saga (and by the titular villain no less); Kienzan had potential, but apparently isn't that great, still a technique that's a one hit kill if it lands, regardless of the opponent's power is still pretty good. There's also Guuldo's time freeze, but that's either something that came out of his being a mutant, or a racial trait (likely both). There are others, but only a few can be learned by others.
- Grandpa Gohan vs Goku. A simple fight, but unburdened by the Rank Inflation and ridiculously high Power Levels that would eventually dominate the series, I somewhat prefer it to what comes later (while still enjoying said later fights).
Well, I had fun beating that horse again. Time to crawl back under my rock.
One Strip! One Strip!Wait, when does Ten use the Mafuba?
My various fanfics. He tries to seal Piccolo with it iirc. The original, not Jr.
EDIT: And I know I'm late to the party but WOW the latest episode really took an animation dive.

Yep. However, Drum gets in the way and then Piccolo Daimaou destroys the electric rice cooker. Since the technique wasn't completed, Tenshinhan survived but was almost completely out of ki.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Yeah. The mafuba would be a good trick if you could do it faster, and it didn't kill you......
I wonder if having a lot more Ki (most of the Z warriors are pretty strong now; I mean, Krillin is a planet buster at this point) means they could do it without being drained. It's never really explained why it kills you....or is it, and I just forget.
I don't possess the same level of knowledge of the Franchise that Pope-Ga seems to have.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm guessing it's the massive energy requirement, or it could be tied to directly to lifespan like the tri beam cannon. Whatever, Kami can do it without dieing so I think the stronger characters would be able to pull it off.
The only one It'd be any use against would be the Majin Buus who aren't fat though...maybe Dabura. The they haven't fought a whole lot of evil incarnates since the Piccolos. Even then, Piccolo Jr. isn't actually Made of Evil like his father, just had his memories. That might have as much to do with its failure as anything.
So, am I allowed to blame Toei for the poor animation quality now? I care not the reasons behind it, just that the animation is nowhere near the quality one expects in this day and age.
