I think he meant the scene where the main protagonist accessed a Debug Room/Area and used it to save an AI's life. That, or another scene where he fought one antagonist in a duel and gave the villain the game's Infinity +1 Sword to defend himself with (which wasn't a fight so much as a forced cavity search, aka, the villain lost pathetically).
Or was this in GGO? I don't remember a data room scene in GGO.
I'm thoroughly shocked by that, but, no real harm done.
Now, onto defending Fairy Tail...

So, when is Dragonball Super taking place? After Revival of F but... before/after Goku left with Uub?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Because Korra is beautifully-animated garbage. I don't know, google site search my maybe two posts in the korra thread. Or if you're really interested, i went in depth about it on another site, but you need an account there to see it. Dragonball is a far better-written series, and almost entirely because it never tries to be loldeep or tackle issues it will never be able to talk about well, unlike Korra. Korra's a pretty shitty show and nothing you say will make me change my stance on it, I would be remiss not to mention.
Anyway, Vegeta getting beat up always made kid!me cry. I hated 18 so much for what she did to him. But then a couple months later and he was so far out of her league she idn't matter.

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."...huh. I never considered people would actually sympathise with Vegeta at that point. Different interpretations, I guess.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!![]()

Ohhhh, the tentacle scene.
Yeah, many took issue with that. As its fanservice in anime, I've come to take it with a grain of salt. On the same hand, SAO had a thing about making Asuna a weak protagonist much earlier, and didn't stop until one of the later arcs.
Well, that pretty much ends this. -plugs ears- Not a popular opinion. Not a popular opinion. Not a popular opinion.

Oh, that scene. Yeah, that's one of the many problems Fairy Dance had. On of the many problems. I've actually gone into detail over in the SAO thread as to ways I think they could have improved Fairy Dance. One such way was for Asuna to actually escape there.

don't you think you're being a bit dickish with that?
Anyway, I like Korra, and even prefer it to ATLA which I felt was enjoyable but had a lot of weaknesses. Still think DB is better than either, but it's not really related to the sexism argument.
Fairy Tail is one of those series that I've seen many people say is a progressive shonen for having strong females but everything I've actually seen says the opposite. Sure, Erza's powerful, but also terribly written and used for fanservice more and more as the story goes on. And the female lead is so incompetent her own minions disobey her and sexually harass/assault her regularly. Hell, I've read pretty far into it and female incompetence is incredibly high, so I just don't get where people are coming from.

You know how even through it's worst moments Naruto still had people denying any problems?
It's the same with FT, people who are huge fans of it don't want to admit it's sexist in any way because they think that would make it "bad" for them to enjoy it.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I haven't watched a lot of Fairy Tail (up to the one episode where the guild leader used Fairy Law) but I greatly enjoyed what I saw. I think Rave Master is better, though.

What, you think I should support Fairy Tail?
But I think we've always disagreed on the sexism. Well, I agree with some of what you've said but I do think most media have a huge problem with sexism.

Naruto definitely has it. Even our own Naruto thread has it.

I've never heard anyone herald Fairy Tail as a beacon of progressive female leads. The closet I've found people come to doing that is saying that Erza started out great and could be good and strong female character but now she's been reduced to fan service and self-righteous speeches about friendship. Well the later applies to all the good guys but she does it more than even the lead.
Fairy Tail just went to hell.
I'm annoyed at myself for still reading it, but just like with Naruto, I kinda want to see how it all turns out.
Unlike Naruto, I still like some other characters, whereas in the former, I ended up hating everyone on nothing more than general principle.
Even Rock Lee and Gai, and they're awesome.
Unfortunately, they are in Naruto, which means they deserve to be hated for not being awesome in something worth reading.
Getting back to Dragonball.....
I wanna see someone drop a nuke. Just for shits and giggles.
One Strip! One Strip!Monster carrot is a beast.
Combine Guldo's time stop with Monster Carrot's ability. Absolutely broken.
Come to think of it, Time stop really works with anything doesn't it?
Devilmite Beam, Kienzan, Carrot transformation, you name it, Time stop makes it unstoppable.
Shame it can't be learned by anyone else.
One Strip! One Strip!

I loved Sword Art Online I. However, everything past the Fairy Dance arc is shit. Hell, even the Fairy Dance arc itself is fairly shit but at least it has a lot of enjoyable moments. The Aincrad arc is truly the best.
