I mean. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say they're all terrible. I mean, Goku's always been a character that's been selfish in an innocent way. Like a child. He went out of his way to help Turtle. He's made a lot of his friends by helping people and being nice even when it wasn't easy.
But at the end of the day, Goku has his friends he cares about and likes, but he doesn't mind if he doesn't see them very often because he's ultimately very used to being by himself. He can see them if he wants to, so he doesn't feel the need.
What he actually wants for himself is to eat and to punch things. He's not quite a savior, and he's not a completely good, heroic, selfish character. He won't look for wrongs to right. He probably wouldn't even think to do so.

Why do you think I have it? The number of times I've had to use it in this thread alone is frankly frightening.

That's because, basically every time, it's people like you who bring the conversation up by claiming something is sexist. Meanwhile, people like Shlugo and I are are forced to basically ignore the thread for a page or three because we're tired of seeing this exact same conversation happen every time we turn around regardless of the thread.
Allow me to sum up my opinions. I won't bother to elaborate.
Is sexism a problem? Yes.
Is it as major as people are making it out to be? No.
Will bitching on the Internet solve anything? No.
Are people trying to solve the problem in a productive way? For the most part, no.
And that's that. If you have any problems, deal with it. Let's go, Shlugo.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!...People like me?
I mean. Maybe there's a reason these sorts of conversations keep happening.
I don't actually have to claim something is sexist. It's usually more pointing out sexism. I mean. It's like background radiation. It's there if you look for it. There tends to be more around radioactive things like uranium or the sun.
...I don't know what those would be in this metaphor. Um. Hmm.
Maybe other people have reasons for feeling a problem is more major than you feel it is.
I have talked to people on this forum and reached an understanding, so. I also wouldn't call anything I've done "bitching". I think discussion is always productive when it's reasonable and people think about and learn things.
Critique is an essential part of analysis, and is always worth doing.

You know 18 has to live with both Roshi and Oolong.
This is going to sound terrible, but I hope she beats them regularly.
![]()
Oh, yeah, just beats the shit out of a 100 year-old man. Doesn't even need a reason, he's just there. He has a penis, he has no rights. He doesn't even have to be doing something perverted, just beat him up for letting them live in his house.
...I mean, given his first appearance involved asking to see a 16-year-old's underwear.
Given his track record, anyone that knows Roshi knows that he's probably done something to deserve it.
Probably how they moved to the city.
...Not quite sure how Krillin got to be a cop.
I dunno what the application process for police in DBZ is.

Piccolo used to be a demon and want to take over the world, but he got better after he died and got reincarnated and got beaten up and became friends with Gohan and died again and came back and fused with some guy and himself and.
Goten's a kid, and he's selfish and immature in kid ways.
Which Trunks?
Gohan had a bowl cut once.

Well, I was thinking regular Trunks, but I think either one works.
I mean, regular Trunks is kind of a jerk, but he's just a kid, and I know plenty of people who were jerks at ten and are now really cool people.
Besides, look who his father is.
Also, thank you. :)

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseSo I kind of feel bad, cause I'm pretty sure I was the one who started the sexism argument (with my 18 rant) then it got into Videl getting stomped (which probably couldn't have happened unless Yamcha decided to compete, but we've seen him get beat before).
So the logical thing for me to do is convince Unnoun to take the blame. Yes. I like that plan.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, regular Trunks is who future Trunks would have grown up to be if he'd had a dad around who blah blah'd about destiny and birthright and superiority from before he knew what words meant.
My various fanfics.I'm vaguely curious about how Future Trunks would have reacted to Marron existing. If he came back and met her and 18 and Krillin. Or if he saw 17 ranging his park with his zoologist wife and three kids.
I mean, Xenoverse has Future Trunks, but he seems oddly okay with it. To the extent that he's paying 18 for to do stuff.
But I do want to know his initial reaction.

Again: "people like me"?
I don't understand why people assume I'm the one that starts these things.

They don't.
I just admitted that I started it.
I was just making a joke. Didn't want to offend you or anything.
Kay For Today isn't around anymore, so I need someone who I can jokingly blame all my mistakes on, otherwise I have to take responsibility, and that's less funny.
.......That's also your fault.
Random thought: Villain casts a spell that gives everyone a power level of.....whatever power level Piccolo had when he destroyed the entire world's martial arts stadium.
Characters keep all their techniques, but are no stronger than that.
I haven't figured out all the logistics yet (like how Super saiyan works, since I said everyone still has their techniques), but I'm curious as to how things go with a completely level playing field.

One Strip! One Strip! So 'Blah blah blah pride blah blah blah Prince of all blah blah blah Super Saiyan blah blah blah!'? :P
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else![]()
Indeed it is.
Ah, well I guess I should have figured that out.
But yeah, I have mixed feelings for Vegeta, which feels kind of weird.
It's almost impossible for me to feel sorry for him, yet it's also very difficult for me to not feel sorry for him.

I don't know, how terrible are Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo?
