Why did she let Goten train with Trunks? And even trained him herself?
And it seems like Gohan had regularish contact with Krillin and 18 during those seven years.
Like. He had met Marron before and knew of their living situation. And knew that Krillin was growing his hair out. He broke the fourth wall to explain it to the audience.
It seems like she has less of a problem with the things Goku does and more with the fact that Goku is doing it.
Even when it's not his fault.
I mean, by the Buu Saga she's on shockingly good terms with Piccolo.

It's not uncommon for parents to put all their hopes and dreams and ideals and pressure on their first child, then be more relaxed with subsequent children. Chi-Chi already had her perfect idealized scholar child by the time Goten came along.

Not when she says things like how she doesn't care about what happens to planet as long as Gohan studies. Like, I don't even know why we're trying to have a serious introspective about this.
Does it make for good headcanon? Yea I guess, but I'd hardly say it has any real merit in actual canon. Chi-chi has shown that she does love Goku despite his eccentricities, and she ultimately got what she wanted for her son in the end. So its like, what even :V
Yea this too, she didn't have any sort of problem with Gohan fighting in the World Tournament and was actively encouraging him to do so when Goku showed up.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. She's also relaxed on a lot of her rules for Gohan by that point.
Because Gohan's being all scholarly and being the son she wanted him to be? This is many years later, Gohan's no longer small and impressionable, and he's on the track she wanted him on in the first place. Of course she's relaxed a lot of her rules for Gohan.

...because we are. The topic of discussion was Chi-Chi's behavior towards Goku and Gohan. It is being discussed. Why is that a problem?
She explicitly says as much, IIRC.

One Strip! One Strip!@alekos
No, Metal Cooler is not a bio android. He's just an android. The only part of Cooler that survived was a chunk of his head, and that is still alive and controlling all the other ones.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI don't think Chi-Chi is some sort of control freak. She's just really, really idealistic. She's got the complete wrong worldview for raising Saiyans, and she doesn't seem to realise that until Goku dies for the 2nd time.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Shifting gears a bit, we know Mr. Satan is very strong for a human, but obviously nowhere near a Saiyan or even a ki-controlling human. My question is, how does he compare to humans who "only" have Charles Atlas Superpower but not Ki, like, say, Yajirobe for instance. Stronger or weaker?
They should be able to considering Yajirobe trained with Kami, and Ox-King trained with Master Roshi, but neither can.
The former can sense Ki though, if his accurate directions to those new crews are anything to go by.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm still really confused as to how strong Yajirobe is supposed to be. And how did he get so strong in the first place? He was introduced as some Extreme Omnivore living in the woods. And yet he was able to kill Piccolo's minion and go toe-to-toe with Goku.
I guess I shouldn't really expect an explanation, considering this was Dragon Ball and people were strong there...just because. But still.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! The thing that always leaps to mind with me about Chi-Chi is when she screamed at a crippled, severely bleeding, maybe dying Goku for things beyond his control. Gohan, by comparison, had like a scraped knee. Because Goku had been a responsible adult and took his fight with the super-powered monster away from his toddler.
My various fanfics. But every good parent knows that you need to let your toddlers fight super powered monsters! It builds character or something.
Is the release date for DLC pack 3 known yet? I've mainly just been leveling and thinking up dialogue for my fighters. That's been kinda fun but I want to play through pack 3. Also, I heard that there's going to be more DLC after it. Things like new fighters and costumes mostly. Is that true? Also I heard rumors of a level cap increases. All these rumors were heard from some friends of mine so there's very little chance that they're true.
What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.

We're not supposed to take seriously the fact that Chi-Chi spent approximately six years in a blind fury, hating everyone and everything, and at one point expressing such complete and utter disdain for Goku's crippled and battered physical condition that it prompted Krillin to even call her out on her callousness?
Chi-Chi being absolutely livid about what happened with Gohan is thoroughly documented. My point is that it's not entirely her fault, because the situation does look pretty shitty from where she's standing, given her values.
