Which isn't really surprising. After all, this is the first good DBZ game in years, while the Naruto game it's outselling is... well, yet another Naruto game with an overly long title. It's, to put it simply, not special.
Xenoverse is a big deal because it came about after several pretty bad games and a lot of gamers love it not because it's good, but because it's better than Battle of Z.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI'd also like to think Takahata101 being in it sold at least a FEW more copies.
It felt like the first DBZ games in ages where they actually put effort into it.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! What I liked about the Android and Boo arcs is that it ending up subverting this rule, with the heroes having become too strong for the villains, and there being a back and forth where the villains have to put in work to keep up as well. It seemed really appropriate for the final arcs of the story that had been following the rule up until that point.
And it's nice for something that uses the Always Someone Better rule to acknowledge that such a thing isn't actually possible. Someone has to be at the top, even if they're never met.
By the way, d'you think they ever got around to reviving everyone killed by Raditz, Vegeta, and Nappa? Apparently the "Revive everyone killed by Frieza and his men" wish didn't apply to them, otherwise the Z Fighters Nappa killed would've come back, right? At least in the anime, Farmer with a Shotgun pops up on occasion.
Vegeta and Nappa deserted from Frieza's service when they came to Earth seeking immortality. They no longer qualified as Frieza's men.
Anyone killed by Raditz would automatically be disqualified regardless of whether or not he qualified as "Frieza's men" because more than a year had passed. Mass revivals have a one-year time limit. As one year is also Shenron's recovery period, any wish made on the Dragon Balls prohibits a mass revival for anything that happened prior to that wish.
And Shenron's balls were quite busy those years.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. Please forgive me for derailing this topic with a few points.
- I went on the Reddit site and I saw a fan asking why Pan gets hate because he/she asked if it would be a good idea for Pan to be a recurring character in the new DBZ series, and everybody reacted in outrage. Would it be a good idea for Pan to be a recurring character, but not a main character.? Here is the post if anybody is curious.
- I really hope that Gohan doesn't become a weakling in this new show. I understand Gohan doesn't like fighting, but it's annoying how he's made out to be weak, when at one point he was stronger than Vegeta. Education is a key point that Gohan does need, but he's still a saiyan. He has saiyan blood.
- Lastly. Now I understand why Chi-Chi is controversial in the fandom, but one thing I noticed is how people unnecessarily demonize her., compared to all the other females in the show. Bulma also did other things (like leaving Goku and co. to die many times, hooking up with the guy who harmed/killed Goku's friends, treating Yamcha badly in their relationship), and people ignore or dismiss this and she rarely gets demonized. Now I can understand why people dislike Chi-Chi for being annoying and selfish when it comes to her education>> the planet logic, but I think demonizing her is too far.
I mean, ultimately every "heroic" character in this series is flawed at best and often and frequently selfish at. Well. Not worst. At worst they'd be unrepentant genocidal maniacs. See also: Mr. Buu, Vegeta and Piccolo.
The backlash against Chichi is a bit overblown in that light.

I actually responded to that post. I wasn't saying Pan shouldn't be in the show, I was saying GT!Pan shouldn't be in the show. They need to fix her character if they want her in there.
In GT, all she does is act annoying and selfish, and she causes more problems than she solves. At least in the first arc. I don't want the ONLY female fighter to be ANOTHER whiny bitch who's the source of everyone's problems.
Although I haven't really watched the second half of GT. I don't know if she gets better.
And speaking of Chi-Chi: I recently posted a thing saying that Chi-Chi didn't force Gohan to stop training after the Cell Saga, and most people disagreed with me on that.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! From what I understand a lot of the hate for Chi-Chi comes from her calling Goten a "monster" in the dub after he turns Super Saiyan. The actual word used in Japanese was "delinquent," referring to Japanese delinquents who bleach their hair, which would obviously be lost on an English-speaking audience.
I actually do remember that in the dub. Chi Chi was freaking out about Gohan looking like a punk rocker.
My various fanfics.I'm not even sure why they changed it. When Chi-Chi sees Gohan, she calls him a "punker" in the dub. I don't know why they decided to do something different for Goten.

It's honestly one of the funniest moment. "What do you mean, this is some sort of transformation to a legendary warrior? All I can see is he's bleached his hair!"

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!So I was thinking, if there's a Xenoverse 2, a few things i'd like to see - in addition to what i've mentioned already - are a save file transfer, customization for outfits, and Bio-Android (or whatever Cell is) as a race.
I've mentioned S.F.T. somewhere else and got "But then people would be overpowered!" as a response but if enemies in the Story mode scaled to a players level, that'd eliminate the issue there and as for Pv P, if people are to weak and keep getting their asses kicked, they can level up. Simple.
As for the Cell race, wasn't there something like that in Dragon Ball Online? I think I heard they weren't playable and were only enemies but why not make them a playable race? If Buu can create his own race, why can't their be a Cell race?
What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.Actually, the region locking has already been gotten around. Just use a bit of Google Fu.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
x12 It doesn't help Chi-Chi's case that she showed no sympathy towards Goku and his injuries, basically blaming him for Gohan being in danger despite the fact that it was Piccolo who put him into that position in the first place (Especially since she even acknowledged that Piccolo kidnapped him).

Dragon Ball sells twice as good as Naruto.
