I played the Buu quest earlier and got Super Vegeta 2 on my first try. RN Gesus took pity on me.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."That'd be a good way to do it. Or have certain enemies that need to be defeated a certain way in order to get their outfit/skill. Like if you want Raditz's armor, he needs to be finished with the Special Beam Cannon.
Anyone else wish Roshi's Drunken Master Technique (or whatever the English name was since I can't remember the Japanese name right now) was available in game? Or that spinning move Goku used against Namu? For the spinning move, it could cause temporary stunning to the player once it finishes.
EDIT: I also wish Mai and Violet's outfits were in the game. Violet's could be the female exclusive Red Ribbon outfit, like how Commander Red's is male only.
I also wish we could train moves, like say one uses Big Bang Attack often, it'd get stronger after a while or if the player uses one of the Super Saiyan transformations, over time the Ki drain would slow down.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned. If I knew how and had the PC version of Xenoverse i'd have it so when using Angry Shout the character had a chance of yelling "Step Off!", "Personal Space!" "Repelled", "You're in my...Bubble!" or "Get yo ass...outta here!" I'd find it funny to hear my character randomly shout one of those, obviously others may not. I'd just want them to yell something.
EDIT: Watching Dragon Ball in Japanese and just finished the episode where Goku turned into an Ape while fighting Roshi and hearing Krillin calling Goku's name is just...It really feels like the Japanese voice actors put genuine emotion into their performance. I dunno, maybe it's just me. If only the English voice actors could put some damn emotion into their performance.

Different styles. Japanese voice actors take their cues from Kabuki theater, where you deliver over the top performances. Western V As take their performance style from Western-style acting, where subdued performances are more common.
That said, there's tonnes of emotion in the modern Dragonball Z dubs. Dragonball's dub is back from the early Toonami days where everyone was awful.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."My impression of the dubs vs subs thing is that a lot of people equate not screaming/overacting to not having emotion. Not to say there aren't some terrible/lifeless dubs but I could never take that complaint at large seriously once I figured that out.
Also the criticism about dubs not being carbon copies of the original but in English which when you get down to it is where the "lack of emotion" complaint originates as well.

I'm still at Dragon Ball so I can't say which I think is better yet. But I did love Goku's Vegeta impression, that was just great.
I should've been more specific, Dubs to me sound better when expressing Anger, and more intimidating lines such as threats and the like while subs do better with things like sadness and emotional scenes (not sure how to describe what I mean so I hope that's clear enough). I never got why English shows and dubs felt the need to add music in every scene, sometimes silence is needed. Both have their good points and their bad and neither is perfect. I like both a lot except when it comes to sub Z's Goku voice. I am not looking forward to hearing that.
I hope I didn't sound like I was hating on the dub or anything, as I said both have their own strengths and weaknesses, so I don't think it can be said that one is is 100% better than the other.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.English Dubs kill silence because there's a lot of delusional and rather idiotic people who think that all animation is for children and that children will immediately lose interest if there's even an instant of silence.
Incidentally, due to a flat out mistake, the original run of Gohan turning SSJ 2 in the Latin dub went by without music. The scene was made a billion times better for it, even with the sound problems factored in. I have no idea why the hell it even has music in the first place, it works so much better without it. It should be an example of how wrong the practice of silence-killing is.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI've noticed that kids typically don't care if there's sound or not. If they're going to watch a show, they're going to watch it regardless of if there's music or not. Same for if they're not going to. So long as there's movement and crap going on, they're happy. At least that's what i've noticed with Toddlers, I have no idea if it's the same with older kids.
I've always hated that 'Animation is for kids' crap. An example is something like Family Guy, definitely not for kids but it's animated. Or look at Batman: Assault on Arkham. No way in hell would I let a younger kid watch it, though it's not the worst thing out there it's not appropriate for a young kid. Or Invader Zim, a show that was 'aimed' at younger kids. Having an Alien steal and eat the organs of elementary school kids is something you'd see in some kind of horror movie.
I think it depends on the age group as well as the kids own understanding of why no music can enhance a scene. That said sometimes music can make a scene better.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.Beat the story mode. Demigra was Josh Grelle? Also Beerues and Whis were hard to fight against, damn. I ended Ressele;s story at level 62 with 100 Ki Blast Supers and 80 Max Ki with the skills Maximum Charge-Vanishing Ball-Instant Transmission-Gravity Slam-Super Saiyan 2-Perfect Kamehameha while wearing GT Goku's entire gi.

Or get rid of the RNG crap and make it so if you fulfill the conditions for the extend quest, you play it and if you get an Ultimate finish, you get the item/skill you should be getting. Only one thing though and then have a flag that tells the game you got like the shoes so next time you won't get shoes, then after you have the set the flags reset so you could get multiple if you wanted. No more random crap it's a bunch of horse piss. And give us a Training mode, Tournament mode, the option to change the color of all items and FUCKING TAILS FOR SAIYANS! Oh and let custom characters fight each other.
EDIT: Using the Dragon Balls to beat RN Gesus seems cheap, just kill the evil SOB and let us get the items through beating the shit out of opponents and by being awesome. I'd much rather get the option to say max out a stat with the Balls. Like a 'I wish to be immortal' wish which maxes health, or 'I wish to be the strongest in the universe' or something that maxes attack. Obviously if that happened, people would then complain that our characters weren't really immortal or the absolute strongest but if anyone else can think of a better way to word it, go ahead.
EDIT 2: oh and the ability to make custom emblems for our characters which would appear on certain outfits.
