Uh, the fuck? "Room of Spirit and Time" is not Gratuitous Japanese. It's... it's English. Quite obviously.
As for why use it over Hyperbolic Time Chamber, not everyone watches the funimation dub.
I read the manga, and talk with people that come from all over the world. I'm far more used to using the original terms, and see no reason to change everything to follow some guys in Texas who admitted to working off horribly translated scripts.
I also hate the whole Kuririn and 18 pairing. But I think, aside from that, 18 did pretty well. Her role in the Boo arc had little to do with being Kuririn's wife and was actually bigger than Kuririn's role. Plus, it was entertaining.
But she'll probably never have an appearance not based on her relationship now.

I can barely stop myself from saying Freezer, which is what Freeza was called in the Latin dub. (Of course, given that the Japanese would pronounce 'Freeza' and 'Freezer' exactly the same way... I don't think it makes that much a difference)
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI watched the funimation dub, and I've started calling it Room of Spirit and Time because it makes more sense. Why use a deliberately sci fi term for a magical room?
My various fanfics. So I unlocked Super Vegeta 2, beat Beerus, bought Maximum Charge.
I really like Super Vegeta 2.
...Also, been practicing with some of the regular characters. Adult Gohan has an Unlock Potential transformation Ultimate Skill. Just noticed that.
...Did Broly just give someone a compliment?
...Is Broly attracted to Majins?

A majin is pretty much the only thing he can fornicate with without tearing it apart.
Well, correction, it's the only thing he can fornicate with, since tearing it apart won't matter with how quickly it can regen.
Something I've wondered is... Why is Unlock Potential not available for our Mary Sues? It's like, I dunno, kind of the thing you'd expect to have, to give the others a transformation that puts them on an equal level with the Super Saiyans.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariLet me put it in simple terms.
You have 4 super slots and 2 Ultimate slots.
Super Saiyan 1 and 2, as well as Vegeta's versions, take up an Ultimate Slot each, while Kaioken uses a Super slot instead. You'd have to be a class A idiot to take up both ultimate slots with Super Saiyan transformations, and you'd have to be a class A idiot to take up 3 out of your 4 Super Slots with the Kaioken (which goes from x2 to x3 and then x20). Put simply, there is no possible concern of being bogged down by Transformation skills because if you do, well, it's your own fault for being stupid and not realizing that you only really need the one transformation.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariDBZ can be accused of sexism for many reasons, but the treatment of 18 isn't one of them. Under the circumstances, she outdid both 17 and 16. In the Buu saga, her actions had more weight (and comedic value) than any other human who isn't Mr.Satan (if she had decided to be bullheaded and short-sighted like the rest of the cast, Hercule would've been humiliated, and who's going to defeat Buu, now?). The one time she decided to step into the fray in GT, she outperformed pretty much every member of the cast bar Goku&Vegeta.
Really, the most sexist thing they ever did with her was Revival of F, and even that film treated Goten, Trunks and Buu with the that same stick.
yeah I didn't get the argument that 17 was treated differently to her in the Cell arc. 17 did have someone protect him from being absorbed: 16. They were treated the same.
Revival of F sidelined Goten/Trunks/Boo differently. Boo was actually wanted there but wouldn't wake up, Goten and Trunks were said to be liable to take things too far (a bad excuse considering they'd be useful anyway, but it's at least based on their canon personalities). 18 shows up, wants to fight, and is sent back to the kitchen.
Krillin's a pretty cool guy. I see him telling her to stay back and protect Marron as his way of safeguarding the people he loves the most. Yeah, she's stronger than him, but it's pretty endearing. The fact that 18 goes along with it is also really cool, since it's obvious she's just humoring him to avoid stepping on his pride.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Maybe he feels like he'd have a better chance against Frieza because he's 'fought' him before? Like he feels he knows what to expect. Not so much that he's strong enough to matter but he feels he won't be caught off guard. Or he wants a chance at revenge for Frieza blowing him up. I dunno, i'm just throwing this out there.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.

Whoa he is? Holy shit.
