Keep it up.
I need your nerd tears and/or your nerd rage.
It's for a thing.
You're awakening Majin Buu, aren't you?
No, he's not. He just has nowhere else to go, so he keeps coming back.
If their daughter was in danger, 18 can clearly do a better job of protecting her.
18 can do a better job ensuring it never comes to that. Her battle power is so far above Krillin's it's not even funny. If 18 couldn't annihilate every force Frieza has at his disposal with a light sneeze, then Krillin's got nothing to contribute but an easily-avoidable, utterly pointless death.
That's a good point. Goku and Vegeta training under Whis is a golden opportunity to write them out, reducing the necessary threat level in the process.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.- KRILLIN: King Yama, how's things? I'm back to chill in the Afterlife for a few hours. Frieza's on Earth, it's a whole thing, but all I can think about is cashing in those points. I heard Namekian Sno-Cones were BLOWING UP here and I was just DYING to have one! Huh? Huuuuh?
- KAIO-SAMA: *from a distance* I get it!
Here's a write up from a guy who saw Revival of F:
There's a Japanese term 起承転結 (introduction, development, turn, conclusion) which is often referred to when it comes to writing fiction, and Resurrection F completely lacks development in it. Foes appear, warriors gather, fight, then win. There is no development in the story. It's just punch, punch, kick, beam, funny conversations, punch, beam, funny reactions, beam, punch, Kamehameha! I can even hardly call this a story. It fails to be something enough calling a movie.
However, that doesn't mean it's not entertaining. It sure has a lot of charms. It's got a lot of hilarious and heartwarming moments (like Jaco's funny lines, Piccolo rocking Pan's cradle and Android 18 showing her love for Krillin) that definitely entertain fans, and the characters feel very on-character thanks to Toriyama. Also, a lot of the fight sequences were much better than my expectations. They're mainly focused on fist-to-fist struggles and it's not a boring beam show that GT was. Especially, Kamesen'nin was really badass this time. You ought to check it out yourself.
Things that bugged me were some really amateurish transitions of scenes, the persistent and unfunny gag moments by Beerus, and the choreography of battle sequences. Some scenes were suddenly inserted that I couldn't immediately understand what's happening. For example, Sorbet finds Pilaf and co in his space ship, and within the next two shots, they're already trapped in the ship and talking with Sorbet. It could have been a lot better by showing Pilaf and his gang first, then the space ship comes, trapped, and Sorbet gets introduced. Also, though Freeza mentions his training for a few months, the training itself is never shown and you don't understand how he could have become stronger. He just comes to the Earth shortly after his resurrection. As for gag moments, honestly, Beerus was unneeded in this movie. He just continues on talking about foods, which we've already seen enough in Bo G, and contributes nothing to the story. Also, he acts high and mighty all the way that it spoils Freeza's terror. Whis alone would have been completely fine this time. The battle choreography was mostly nice, but it was often too "realistic" that it's not very DB-esque. It could have been more planet-scale. The overuse of slowmo doesn't help, too.
In conclusion, this is a compilation of battle sequences with Toriyama's elements inserted between them, which is enjoyable for DB fans and those who want to enjoy hardcore actions with an empty head. But to me, this does not feel like a movie at all. It feels like an overly rich OVA.
Just in case anyone's interested, i'll post this
What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.
Because the power of- Oh my god, your avatar is Blaze and Twilight Sparkle.
Because the power of boners is stronger and they hate that.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Beause they're awful together. It turns one of, if not THE only competent female DB fighters and turns her into "Krillin's Waifu" who ends up meaning nothing.
Nevermind how she essentially serves as a prize to Krillin because he's such a nice guy so he totes deserves a hot girlfriend because the stupid little wimp prioritized his crush over saving the planet.
I get part of it is Toriyama is an absolute failure with romance in general (hey, no issues hooking up with the genocidal, child murdering criminal who was directly responsible for the deaths of a large percentage of your friends, right?) What worthwhile thing has 18 done since hooking up with Krillin beyond being a good little wife and mother whose greatest contribution is throwing fights against Mr. Satan?
Which is why I'm using it mockingly.

Eh.
It's probably more relevant to the arc as a whole than anything Krillin does.
And. I'm not sure "relevant" is.
It's not a term I ever use with fiction. Because I hate the way it seems like it reduces a story and a narrative to a sequence of events.
So. I mean, the way she's kept to the sidelines isn't great, no. I kinda hate it, actually. I mean. She should really be involved in a lot more fight scenes than she is.

But... a narrative is a sequence of events. Life is a sequence of events. I don't see how else you can view it.
Also, to be fair, it's not like she could have done anything in the Buu Saga. Majin Buu requires either a Super Saiyan 3 or Ultimate Gohan to handle and bother of those things are way stronger than 18.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

I do like how all that off-screen training to get way stronger, and it still doesn't look like Frieza is flat-out stronger than Goku/Vegeta from these spoilers.
