That wasn't the moral dilemma Krillan faced and you know it. Krillan finally had the chance to get some and he couldn't pass it up.
And his risk paid off fantastically.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I like how you prefaced your words with the fact that you knew you're wrong.
The biggest reason why you're wrong is that training in Super Saiyan does benefit the base form, as well. In fact, it might actually be more beneficial to train as a Super Saiyan. Vegeta and Trunks seem to have trained in base form, and the gulf between the benefits Goku and Gohan got from training and what the former got is gigantic.
Think about it like this:
As Super Saiyans, they're pushing themselves more, and the more they push, the more results they get. The concept of 'Overtraining' doesn't exist in the DBZ world.

I knew putting that was a good idea. I always thought that Super Saiyan was more like a power multiplier and that was it but wasn't 100% sure so yeah. Guess I was wrong, whatever. Happened before and it'll happen again.

actually don't think so. At least, I remember how in DBZA, Vegeta ends up killing people while trying to get 18, while 18 doesn't hurt anyone. And the only person she fought started the fight himself. So, I dunno.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! You know, I had a great idea of how they can beat Freeza in the new movie, even if Freeza is stronger than them.
Freeza is beating them, (first Goku, then Vegeta, and then both of them at once), until he reverts to his normal form. And Goku theorises that he didn't understand the limitations of his own body to realise there was some sort of flaw in Golden Freeza, and he couldn't maintain it indefinitely.

You mean like how Vegeta doesn't kill anyone in the Saiyan Saga?
x5 Super Saiyan is a power multiplier. It increases a Saiyan's base Power Level by a factor of 50. Super Saiyan 2 increases it by a factor of 100 and Super Saiyan 3 increases it by a factor of 400.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I don't think I was clear with how I interpreted it. I thought it was only two things a power multiplier, and a new hair style. I thought it multiplied your base power then when turning back you were the same as before. Like really it was the same as taking some attack boosting potion or whatever in a video game and then after the fight having your attack power go back to hat is was pre-potion. So I saw it as a temporary boost that did nothing once the Saiyan turned back.
I really hope i'm not misunderstanding what's being said. That'll be embarrassing.

If you use a temporary Strength Up in a video game and then gain a level that raises your Strength while it's in effect, does your Strength go back to what it was before you leveled up after the Strength Up wears off?
... Yeah, that is how it works. Thing is, it doesn't prevent you from levelling up while you're using it.
Think about it like this:
Your attack is 100. You level up your Attack every time you deal 50000 damage. You can punch 500 times to level up your Attack Stat.
However, if you drink an Attack Boost potion, letting you deal more damage, the 'damage you need to deal before your next level up' doesn't expand accordingly. Meaning, when you drink that Attack Boost potion, and start dealing, say, 500 damage per hit, you will level up five times faster because you're dealing damage five times faster, requiring you to land 100 punches instead of 500. Then, after you gain the level up and the potion wears off... the level up is still there.
Sure, it'll be divided by 5 since that was the boost the potion gave it, but it's still the same level up that you would've gotten without the potion. The difference is that you obtained it much, much faster.
Does that make more sense to you?

Then let me rephrase the question: Would it make sense for it to take away the points gained by your level up?
Also, the temp boosts can be insanely helpful even if you could defeat the boss (Because why would you use them on anything other than bosses or Bosses in Mook Clothing?) since they'll make the boss that much easier and that a lot less time to defeat.
EDIT: Hey, I wasn't insulting your intelligence. I was just presenting my explanation using your own example. I'd rather pose another question that will help someone understand on their own than go through a lengthy explanation.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I was referring to people i've talked with and actually know. Should have included you when I said thanks. So i'll do so now, I thank you for helping me understand and correct my mistakes instead of just insulting me and moving on.

What Krillin did was stupid. Definitely. But I can at least understand why he did it. Having to kill an innocent person, one who didn't seem that evil, to save the world from a threat that may or may not end up being serious...you have to have no conscience whatsoever to do it without hesitation.
