For the wolves, it's to survive.
And in a world where strong prey on the weak, being brutal against horrible people is the only way to save others.
Watch SymphogearSo what happens if I select "I want to be stronger" - or whatever it is from Shenron's wish list that levels you up - while at level 80? Does it do nothing or does it level up the next character in my list that is not at 80? The only one I need to level up is Gine so I guess that wish is now even more useless than it was before.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned. That was one of the reasons I loved Battle of Gods - even when becoming a god, Goku wasn't some messianic figure. Piccolo even DOUBTS that Goku is pure-hearted enough to able to become one! If you compare that to other movies...there's a distinct difference to how Toriyama writes Goku and how Toei writes Goku.
That's why I'm excited Toriyama is working on the new movie. Much less Goku ex Machina.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Hmm... Is that before the Bulma's Balls scene?
Also, how is the Dragon Ball anime? Is it full of filler like DBZ?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I haven't seen too much of Dragon Ball, so I don't know.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseSpeaking of padding, there's this bit on that page:
It was established long, long ago that the fights were taking place at speeds far faster than any regular human can see (I believe someone said it started as far back as the very first Tenkaichi Budokai) and they only got faster from there. It's even more obvious when someone who isn't powerful enough to see an attack or move isn't present (see when Goku arrived on Namek or when Frieza revealed his Final Form). The fight between Goku and Frieza after Frieza threw the Death Ball (That was a Death Ball, right?) at Namek took five minutes and that's perfectly believable.
On another note, since I've always been confused about it, can someone lay out the official sagas for me?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Even WITH that assumption, there's still problems with it. For one, they can't TALK at superhuman speeds, and there's still plenty of dialogue. And the fact is, in less than 5 minutes they must have fought, then Mr. Popo wished everyone back, then Dende wished everyone off the planet, then they fought a bit more, Freeza gets cut in half, Goku spares his life but Freeza tries to kill him anyway, and then Goku manages to find a spaceship to leave just in time.
That's a lot of things that have to happen.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!@Zelenal: The original Dragon Ball doesn't really have any padding. The filler episodes tend to be problem-of-the-week incidents, or attempts to flesh out certain events (like Kami/Popo's training involving time travel and lightning strikes).
And then there's weird stuff like Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu being con artists with a pet boar. I'm not sure why anyone in production thought that made sense.

I like that one. It was really nice to see Grandpa Gohan meet Chi-Chi and grown-up Goku.

x5 If you cut the dialog to only what happens in the manga and note that Mr. Popo gathering the Dragon Balls and having that wish granted as happening simultaneously to the fight, it's not that hard to believe. Especially if you take a majority of the fight itself happening in the span of a few seconds (since Krillan and someone else once held an entire fight in about a second in early Dragon Ball). Again, the physical exchanges that you're seeing are only taking a few seconds at most.
Remember how Goku vs Frieza started? You remember then just flashing around the place and colliding on occasions? Every time they collided, imagine them doing the standard DBZ fight stuff before they back off. Then take that speed and multiply it by a factor of at least 50 to get Super Saiyan Goku.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's easily explainable, though, as Freeza could just have been wrong about it taking exactly five minutes. While I'm certain he's exploded planets that way before... It could also be that he undershot the mark for the five minutes explosion, giving them the wiggle room necessary to have the conversations they did have.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariYep.
So, in Xenoverse, are the clashes whenever two strong attacks connect (I'm assuming that's what's happening) just little cutscenes or do you have to button mash to win it?

As far as later shonen heroes being personifications of all that is good, they get more from Kenshiro then Goku.
