The reason Gero didn't create Androids powerful enough to blow up the Earth back in Dragonball was because he hadn't invented the infinite energy reactors that 16, 17 and 18 run on. He was even still developing those by the time Trunks showed up to kill Frieza.
So yeah. Infinite energy reactors > some alien mutant.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Until he starts applying himself.
No, I think contradictions are a perfectly fine thing to criticize.
I don't see how the real life thing defends it at all, this is fiction. Internal consistency is simply not that hard and it looks either lazy or like poor ability when a writer can't achieve that.
It's fine that you don't care about contradictions at all. It's pretty silly to think others shouldn't.
@HT There is no officially laid out Dragon Ball canon, really.

It's pretty silly to think that contradictions matter in and of themselves.
Fiction should not be expected to make more logical sense than the actual physical universe.
I mean. Fiction isn't just gossip about imaginary people. It's imitation.
"The problem with contradictions is that they are likely to be points in which the reader is led to make incorrect interpretive decisions for reasons having nothing to do with misdirection or surprise."

Reminder
that piccolo is a better father and now grandfather than goku ever was:
Videl: Hello! Is this a good idea, Bulma? I’m not really anybody important…
Bulma: Don’t worry about it! It’s been pretty much all men so far, so it was turning into a pigsty around here! But never mind that, how’s Pan doing?
Videl: She’s fine, thanks for asking. And so cute…! Gohan absolutely adores her.
Bulma: I’m sure Gohan will make a great father.
Videl: Oh, and sometimes Piccolo stops by to play with her.
Bulma: ……?! Piccolo!? Well, as long as he doesn’t teach her the Makankosappo or anything bad like that…
Videl: Don’t even joke about that, Bulma!
Piccolo: …………………..

Maximum Over-God.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
