Which one?
The Roshi is a pervert thing, or the Oolong kidnapped girls who didn't want to leave because he did whatever they wanted thing?
One Strip! One Strip!Good point.
Anyway, can we find a new topic. I don't really care to talk about perverts anymore.
I know that arguing Power Levels, saying that God Frieza is dumb, saying that the Android and Cell Saga makes no sense, and wishing the characters hadn't gotten so ridiculously strong, etc, has been a dominant force here for some time (and I've played my role in those arguments, make no mistake) but there must be something else we can talk about.
Oh, here's a good one: What moment made you genuinely laugh the hardest?
One Strip! One Strip!Golden Frieza is dumb but, so long as the action is good, I don't care.
Hmm... Most of the comedy is in the original Dragon Ball, which I've never read, and there isn't a whole lot of humor in Z. King Kai complaining that Goku was going to eat him out of house and home and Goku responding with "I'm saving that for desert" was pretty hilarious, though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Yeah, as noted, while the silliness never really went away completely - flaring up during the Frieza Saga and returning in full during Buu Saga - most of the actual comedy happened before Piccolo Daimao's arrival; announcing him with the murder of a beloved cast member really set the stage for the story's tone shift.
Out of all things, I'd say Krillin triumphing over Bacterion by abusing the art style is my favorite comedic moment.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I don't think it was in Kai so I don't know what you're talking about.
Or it was and I just forgot it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So the Spirit Bomb that Goku used against Frieza contained energy from just about everywhere in the universe and it didn't work.
The Super Spirit Bomb that Goku used against Kid Buu only contained the energy from everyone living on Earth and it worked.
How and why.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! The Genki-Dama against Frieza didn't contain energy from the entire universe. It contained energy from the wildlife of Namek and a few other planets in the immediate vicinity. As Namek was nearly barren of any form of life beyond grass and trees, this Genki-Dama was substantially weaker than the one he composed of every living being on the planet Earth including all of his incredibly powerful friends and family.
EDIT: Even if every human on Earth contributed only 1 point to the battle power of that Genki-Dama, that's a battle power of 6-8 billion before you take into account the contributions of characters like Gohan or Piccolo.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.No, I just watched that episode of the anime. Goku says that the Spirit Bomb contains the hopes of about 99% of the universe.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I do not recall that. I remember him taking all he could from Namek, and then wringing all he could from various alien fish on other planets in the star system.
Are you sure he meant it was energy from everywhere in the universe, or a metaphorical "hope", as in "if this kills you , the universe will be free from your tyranny" sort of thing?
I have a message from another time...It could also be either a dub-induced or anime-induced plot hole. There are lots of those; in the manga, Goku just throws it. Someone took liberties with the source material, probably not realizing that Goku would assemble a more powerful one later in the story. Lull Destruction is notorious for that.
The only time Goku has assembled a Genki-Dama out of the entire universe was the one that killed Omega Shenron in GT.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Do you want me to PM you a link to the episode of Kai where he launches it? Though he said hope the last time, there are various other times where he says "energy".
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!![]()
Even then the Spirit Bomb used against Omega wasn't from the whole universe, since the only people who we saw actually give energy to it were the people that Goku and company met while gathering the Black Star Dragon Balls, which were only scattered across the entire galaxy. So either energy from a simple galaxy or energy from the Northern Quadrant.

And yet Master Roshi was in my top ten.
EDIT: Actually, no he wasn't, I was confusing him with Hercule. Admittedly, I was kind of picking at random for like half of that character thing.
