You're wrong. You can buy his beard, but the DLC item has an option to have beard + sunglasses since it's a single accessory.
On top of that, they haven't announced what else is in DLC pack 3. But it's not just the Roshi and Jaco stuff, which was only revealed to be part of pack 3 because it was already the Japanese pre-order bonus. The new content of pack 3 is being kept secret.
I don't think race specific tutors would be good because they wouldn't make sense in a lot of cases. What can Roshi only teach to humans? If the mentors were in for everyone but just had some specific options for certain races (Boo/Piccolo teaching unique moves to Majins and Namekians, Goku helping the Saiyans become Super Saiyans) that'd probably work better.
It's not like Toriyama forgetting things would ever happen.
So there have been interviews apparently.

We haven't reached the point in the timeline where Bra would be born. She's younger than Pan.
There's some confusion due to a guidebook printing her birth year as being older than Pan's... but that same guidebook also gave her the correct birth year in another section which coincides with everything else.
Sure, off panel mention but it still accounts for her and shows Toriyama remembered. He just chose to write her out.
That is certainly not the definition of filler. It was done in response to a question about what other characters were doing during the battle with Freeza.

...So wait.
One of the Parallel Quests involves helping Guldo join the Ginyu Force.
So. So does that mean Dragon Ball time travel also operates on Stable Time Loop/You Already Changed the Past rules?

Gurd isn't the same thing at all as Bejita, because Gurd is closer to the pun source while Bejita is further away. Vegeta is also how the name is rendered in English in Japanese materials, Guldo is just from the dub.
I actually try to use Guldo so people don't freak out, not that I should have to because maybe get the fuck over it, but sometimes I don't remember to correct to the dub names.
I think all the mentor final battles are the same difficulty. I have only unlocked (and defeated) Vegeta's so I can't say for myself, though.
After seeing the Steam guide on how races, height, weight and gender effect stats I think I'm going to delete my character and start again. You apparently don't lose anything but levels and attributes, keeping all masters, supers, clothing and story progress etc.
Dunno if I want to give up forty levels though...

According to our pages Vegeta's last two missions are unusually difficult.
I was able to get through the third one with recovery items.
But that last one.
His Big Bang Attack does a lot of damage, and I don't know that I can do enough damage to him in five minutes to win.
But I actually want to get back to the part where Guldo just started hitting on me because goddamn that was creepy.

So DLC 3 is going to add Roshi items? Like his beard, staff, shell, and...wait a minute, can't you buy those things in-game already? Yeah, you can I have a character using his staff right now. So really at this point all i'm sure to get is a shirt and Jaco? Lovely. I hope i'm wrong because that seems like a huge ripoff.
Also, does anyone else think race specific tutors would be cool? Majin's get to train and learn Buu's moves, Saiyans get I dunno Bardock or something, Humans get...Roshi? Frieza's clan guys would get Cooler, and Namekians get...King Piccolo? Dende? Moori? I dunno. What moves the ones besides Buu would teach I dunno but they already have race specific moves in game so why not race specific tutors?
What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.
