Regarding why Dr.Gero didn't kill Goku in the hospital: didn't his camera bug get destroyed in the fight against Vegeta?
So, if he didn't see the aftermath of the fight, he just thought "The apocalypse hasn't arrived, I can assume that Goku won. And I bet he's just going to take another one of those stupid senzus, like what happened with Piccolo... *sigh* I was so pumped to kill him after the tournament, hole in the chest, broken limbs, but noooo, he had magic Wolverine beans... Where does he even get those?"

No, it still appeared in the Android arc.
Really, it's already been said - Gero at that stage was still working on his Androids, and wasn't ready to activate them. We don't know why 1 - 15 were considered failures, but 16 - 18 were all failures simply because they posed a danger to him. So I'm guessing it was something similar for the first Androids, and he couldn't simply just switch on some faulty Androids and hope for the best. That doesn't end well for Gero in multiple timelines.
Plus, Goku has people protecting him. Roshi and Yajirobe are far above what Gero would be capable of without a functioning Android and all we know is that everything he had was somehow a failure.

Where? I know the "Cell-bug" appeared, but I don't remember Gero's own.
(Also, wouldn't something on the level of Android 8 be enough to warrant a shot at killing a sleeping, crippled Goku? It's not like Goku would sense him coming, nor would Roshi or Yajirobe.
Furthermore, Androids 9-15 could be considered failures simply because they weren't strong enough to kill a healthy Goku)

Ah, I thought you were referring to Cell's bug.
Gero had stopped surveillance when Goku left for Namek, meaning he was monitoring him up until that point. He'd definitely know what Goku's status was.
No. 8 was strong compared to early Red Ribbon arc Goku, meaning he could still be too weak for Yajirobe or a crippled Goku. He was another failure based on personality, though.
So every Android we've seen bar 19, the first successful Android, was a failure based on personality. I'm thinking that was the case for all of them, frankly. Partly because that's hilarious.
Presumably, he didn't have the combined energy absorption/infinite energy models simply because it wasn't possible, and presumably, he didn't give himself an Android 16-level body because it wasn't possible. 16 is an actual android instead of a cyborg like Gero himself, 17 or 18, and can most likely be described as Gero's second best creation, the best undoubtedly being Cell.
(In truth, his best creation was the AI Supercomputer that continued his work after his death, though.)

I assume combining the infinite-energy and energy-absorbing models would have lead to issues with overloading. Either that, or the kind of circuits that an infinite-energy model had were just incompatible with the absorbing model.
Why he didn't give himself a buff body? Maybe he was proud of being the independent, active oldster he was
And apparently Toriyama has come out and said 19 was programmed to perform the brain-transplant surgery.
The Saiyan characters, Namekian characters, and Mr. Satan are definitely the characters that matter most in the Majin Buu saga, but neither the Saiyan characters nor Piccolo are indicative of their race as a whole. Goku, Vegeta, and their respective kids have reaped the benefits of a lot of ridiculous power-boosting effects, special alien abilities, and supernatural god training over the years. In the Buu Saga alone, Goku has been training in the afterlife for seven years, Vegeta has his potential unlocked by Babidi, Gohan has his power boosted by the Old Kaioshin, Goten and Trunks perform the Fusion Dance, and Goku and Vegeta use the Potara. Any one of these things could boost an individual's power dramatically, and Goku and Vegeta's families have been speedballing crap like this for their entire character histories.
It's not that the Saiyan characters aren't really powerful by series' end; but they aren't indicative of the typical Saiyan experience, any moreso than Krillin is typical of the average human.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Rather surprised it took them this long to announce him honestly.
Here's an actual spoiler from Xenoverse: Towa is Dabura's sister.
Also, apparently you can give CAC's different fighting styles, as one streamer changed his CAC from Ginyu to Goku. Another streamer even said there was a Chi-Chi and a Bulma fighting style.
Apparently the story for the bonus saga is that you and Bardock go against Dark Broly. I wonder why Bardock of all people...

Because he's the only person Broly respects, having left their bitter enmity in a fragile truce after Bardock helped protect Broly's tribe from Frieza and Cell's intergalactic empire of the damned! No, wait, that's my randomizer-generated fanfic headcanon.
The more details we get about this game, the more I feel like the developers reached into my brain and stole my ideas.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I wonder why Dark Broly is even a thing.
He's an insane, psychotic and violent maniac! You don't need to Majinize him to get him to go on a rampage or a killing spree, he's the Legendary Super Saiyan, it's what he does! Just go "Look there! Doesn't that guy look like Kakarrot?", and then he'll go nuts and destroy the entire galaxy trying to kill that guy!
If you're gonna put Bardock in, might as well take advantage of that fact so you can have an excuse for Broly going berserk.
Incidentally, I wonder why we've never seen Bio Broly in one of the fighting games.

really?even after coming back for DB Kai,they still got Travis Willingham for the games that came after,it's nice to see he changed his mind
Wait, there's a mission where we get to team up with Bardock and kick Broly's ass? Yeah, that's the only part of the game I really need. Now if only it was Gohan we were kicking the shit out of, this would be the perfect game.

What started out as a pleasant afternoon of drugs and surgery has not gone as planned.Major Spoilers: Dark Time Patrol Trunks is a part the final saga. Final Form Demigra is a beastly mofo, big-ass dragon whatsit. Also, there's an after-credits scene that may confirm that Xenoverse 2 might be a thing. It's so spoilery, I won't even say it here!
Yeah, get hype.

So you post a spoiler... so you can claim that there's a spoiler too spoilery to spoil?
Anyway, no hype. This game is reminding me way too much of Battle Of Z, Ultimate Tenkaichi, and Raging Blast 2. And to top that off, I've now had the end of the story mode ruined for me.
Having a black, female Super Saiyan and playing as Beerus are the only highlights of this game for me at this point.

Did they leave out the part where he murders Saiyan babies?
