Usage doesn't imply need. I'll just have to get good enough at the game to get perfects.
I could just make a slot with a base form version of my Ca C. It'd be nice if the different costume options allowed for changing of hair/eye colour.
...and that would work how?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.50% would be a Frieza transformation.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I'm gonna love Xenoverse, but I know there's some stuff that's missing that even DLC might forget. If we want some sequels, we're gonna have to support this game hard. Let's let speculation on this game rest for a bit and think what would be good for a future Xenoverse sequel.
Essentially what I'm saying is, I got bored and made a wishlist for XV 2/3.
As you can see, I want transformations to stack and be stamina-based like in Infinite World (Unless they're the Villain's forms which can be permanent after transforming), but I also want to choose a form to play in like the Shin Budokai games, though not as character slots like in the Spike games. Also, I'd like the main roster to also have custom movesets, similar to the Raging Blast games. Also, Dark form costumes and maybe some Majin form costumes for a bunch of characters just like the first Xenoverse and Dragon Ball Heroes respectfully.
I have weird and plenty of wants from a sequel. Though, I'd like the gameplay itself to stay the same because it looks awesome, legit and has plenty of combo-capability. Let's support the game for a better Dragon Ball gaming future!

Wait a sec, I looked back on info of the strategy guide, and I noticed the text that used the 47 amount actually said our CAC's "can use the styles of over 47 of the playable characters." How did I overlook the of in that sentence!? This must mean I was right, though this might mean some characters share some fighting styles. (ie: Goku and SSJG Goku share a fighting style as seen in gameplay)
Though, that must mean that there's more than 12 mentors to choose from, which is good in my book.

I think that roster is way too huge, even for a XV 3. DIMPS' history shows that new instalments in a series add about 10 characters max, and that was in cases where the rosters started out fairly small.
Since this is already starting out with a roster larger than any previous DIMPS fighter, I think it'd be unlikely that we got an influx of new characters each sequel.
No, it doesn't. You can earn special attacks from non-mentor characters (there was a passing comment about unlocking them through missions, the same a getting costume pieces), and the trophy list only has 12 mentors making it extremely likely that's the limit.
Man.
Just put Budokai 1's cutscenes and customization, Budokai 2's RPG mechanics, Budokai 3's world map, Tenkaichi's story progression, and Tenkaichi 3's roster/gameplay together, and you have my favorite Dragonball game ever.
As far as I know, the perfect Dragon Ball game would need this after all the observations I've done:
- Gameplay like Xenoverse
- Free-roaming, RPG-ish story mode like Budokai 3/Tenkaichi 2
- Cutscenes like Budokai/Burst Limit/Infinite World
- Numerous modes outside of single and multiplayer (challenge, tournament, find the items/dragon balls, those special stages from Infinite World, etc...)
- Transformations like Infinite World
- Choosing forms like Shin Budokai
- Team battles as big as Heroes (5-v-5 players big)
- Team attacks of Raging Blast
- The roster of Tenkaichi 3 and Heroes combined (with duplicate characters omitted) along with other characters like Ozotto, Tarble, Naraka, Demigra, etc...
- Every stage from every past game
- Stages as big as Zenkai Battle Royale
- Stat/item customization of Budokai series/Tenkaichi series
- Main roster customization of Raging Blast
- CAC customization of Xenoverse (Expanded with new races like bio-androids and kaioshins and new transformations like Super Namek or Max Powered Humans)

Well I am. Remember, none of the stuff that had Frieza get hit by the worf effect, besides the Trunks thing, was actually made by Toriyama, so none of it is official. Considering Frieza's new transformation is on par with a Goku who has kept the power he had as a Super Saiyan God, most likely not even Super Buuhan and Super Vegito would be able to stop him.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Frieza's new transformation is hard enough to take seriously as it is.
I love Frieza to death, he's my favorite Dragon Ball villain, but...come on. Frieza busts out a new transformation that's supposed to be on par with Super Saiyan God? Frieza's about to surpass both Namekian Fusion and "becoming an Android" for Most Nonsensically Bullshit Power-Up in Franchise History.
Somewhere, somehow, Frieza caught wind of Goku keeping the power of Super Saiyan God for his base form by whining about it and went, "I gotta get me some of that!"
No, wait, I got it. His new transformation is derived from fusing with a certain member of the Ginyu Force. Frieza has the Jeice to go with Goku's whine.

Yeah, because needing to use Super Saiyan just to fight Raditz is just pathetic. Hell, you'd need Super Saiyan to beat Yamcha, how pathetic is that?
