If memory serves, Toriyama didn't "reveal" that Bulma's mom's name is Panchy, he simply stated that if he gave her a name, it would be something along those lines. It's not contradictory for her to be officially named Bikini.
Hmm, that does sound familiar, I didn't quite remember where "Panchy" came from.
Still, "Bikini" being in video game doesn't really weigh much for me. Have it in manga and then I could take it more seriously.

I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.Toriyama is providing all the new info for the lore of the manga and anime in Kakarot.
The animal men found more frequently in early Dragon Ball were actually humans that used a drug called animorphaline, and because it fell out of popular use, the appearance of beastmen lessened.

Watch SymphogearDoes that include Oolong and Puar? Because they were children when they were introduced, Oolong was 8 years old and they attended the same shapeshifter preschool together.
Hard to say. You can never be sure how far ahead Toriyama thought about these things.
Plus, that wouldn't explain why Puar can fly.
Anyway, here's a video from Masako X on that subject along with a few other things:
I gotta say though: did the animal people thing really NEED to be explained? I was ok with it just being a thing.
Also, I had no idea they elaborated that the other universes had a compass Kai (as Masako puts it) system though that makes sense, since we already knew Zamasu had been a Kai previously. What it doesn't explain is if it does the same for the Supreme Kais, since that's what the other three are. Now I wonder if Toriyama meant Kais originally, but mistakenly said Supreme Kais and it just stuck due to him not caring.
Because as the Animal people explanation (and the Piccolo created an illusion of destroying the moon thing) shows, what he's willing and not willing to give an explanation for is all over the place.
I mean, will he finally give a name to Frieza's race now? Cause I'm not sure I want that anymore. It might be more disappointing than what we came up with, though maybe because we've theorized on it for so long.
One Strip! One Strip!I thought the answer to this was nearly always “not very.”
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. How about Frieza's species be named the Frozen?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Only if we all agree to find the first person who makes any references to songs about releasing things and club him or her into unconsciousness.
One Strip! One Strip!...........Let it Go?
Watch Symphogear....yes.
I figured I didn't need to say the name. Plus I was trying to be funny.
That last one is a crapshoot I admit.
Anyway, we beat anyone who references that song.
Because Violence is the Only Option.
One Strip! One Strip! So if angels are destroyed if they break angel code...that really sucks for them doesn't it. Where do they(starting with the Grand Priest) come from anyway? Is this why Universes 13-18 were erased?. Who's in charge of the erasure? If it's Zeno, then that's also horrible because the Grand Priest lives with his children's lives on the line if they screw up. Unless he doesn't care what happens to them, which is terrifying in its own way

It's funny that Whis' gluttony is entirely in his favor in that regard. Apparently acting in self interest is A-OK.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireOolong says in the game that he was born as an animal...and the two people who want to change back just pity him.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I have always thought that angels aren't actually normal beings, but artificial constructs like robots. They've always been a bit off and their True Neutral personality is some sort of programming. Whis and Merus are just a case of Humanity Is Infectious

...or they're just inconcievably long-lived creatures so above the rest of creation that genuine empathy is near impossible for them.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI mean they do shut down when their God of Destruction dies. That sounds pretty robot like.
Except we've seen them without their GoDs in the ToP. They don't turn off like a robot.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThey never said they shut down, only that they become inactive.
Which is the equivalent of saying they're unemployed and decide to just lay around doing nothing
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Given the tournament is a Secret Test of Character they may have anticipated the universes would only be gone for <50 minutes so they didn't go off-line. Hmm...what if Universes 13 through 18 were destroyed because the angels decided to break free and went "no, I'm sick of being an attendant, we can run these universes better than these idiots". Maybe that's why the rule that an angel breaking the rules is erased comes from in the first place
It is.
I was watching a Girlfriend Reviews of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which are always interesting because the central idea of the series is that someone not invested in a game or series reports on what it's like to experience it second-hand through her boyfriend.
And I actually really liked her summation of the series as a whole.
"Dragon Ball Z is a lovably preposterous world built by a manga artist who revels more in the pageantry of action than in the poetry of drama."

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Rereading the latest Dragonball manga again because I can’t afford Kakarot rn and I’m a little starved for content.
It’s interesting that they gave Krillin a Designated Bad Guy in this arc. This might be the first time he’s had one all to himself since Chaotzu. He’s been involved in that collectively, of the “this is the guy everyone weaker than Piccolo / Vegeta / Gohan fights” (depending on the era), but not one to himself in a “this is Krillin’s bad guy” sort of way.
Granted, it’s also been ages since we’ve had an arc with more than one or two major-or-at-least-recurring antagonists.
Also, either 17 or 18 or both are going to die. That’s my guess for casualties. The counter for Moro’s powerset is so front and center in the story that - even given that he’s way too powerful for both of them regardless - them being wrecked specifically when he shows up seems obligatory.
Plus, while they’ve both died in a group / en made, neither of them have had what you might consider a “death scene” yet unlike pretty much everyone else currently fighting, at least not since joining the group, which would give one of them having one a mild “unexpected” value.

This is Dragon Ball, where you can counter anything by punching harder, and where death is meaningless. (Remember the Buu saga, where Goku and Vegeta spent most of their screentime dead, and where the elder kai just got up from a sacrifice with a halo?)

Veggie spent the latter half of his screen time dead and he died for half of the arc. So he didn't actually spend that much time on-screen after he died.
And Elder Kai was already in the Other World, of course he just got back up with a halo.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I love how she actually called Yamcha "Homeless Goku".
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Read chapter 56. Masenkōsappō was cool.
Also, going back couple of pages, name of Bulma's mother in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is "Bikini"... Even though it's been revealed eariler that it's "Panchy"...
Eh, Toriyama. Beside, I don't really count info from video games really that important.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.
