Well you do get "Freeza caused the power inflation that ruined Dragon Ball"

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire
& Freeza just got even better as character
I can't believe you forgot Alternate-Universe Blue Frieza.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I was saying that Freeza was a malignant tumour on this franchise before ROF.
So basically Frieza’s the Joker which would make Goku Batman & thus it all makes sense.
I’m curious, what did he do before his resurrection to earn his tumorage?
How so? Like he’s the same as always, just a little bit more patient I guess.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Bcuz he's just dumb.
He piss off the worst aspect of an already irritating fandom, that already makes him even more likable than he already was
What?
I done’t get it, who’d he piss off?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I don't know how else to phrase that so I'll just say don't worry about it. I'll just say that I like Freeza even more because of arbitrary reasons.

It was really more of a fan thing back then. People called him Goku's arch nemesis or the main villain of DB and played him up as far more important than he actually was. Sometimes the merchandising leaned into that, like him being the only villain rep in J Stars (prior to RF's reveal) and I was always annoyed by that.
Me, presumably.
I get the feeling a large part of agent-trunks enjoyment comes from the irritation of others.
Assume whatever you want. I'm generalizing a group of people not pointing at a specific person.
Either way.........
I am aware of how Frieza is placed on a higher totem as Goku’s more personal enemy compared to the other foes, Hell Wikipedia outright calls him Goku’s Archenemy.
I guess people place higher importance on him simply because of Frieza’s role in the destruction of Goku’s species, a species he couldn’t give an absolute shit about.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Trailer looks incredible. Curious about the Minus tie-ins. You can say what you want about the writing, I loved the aesthetic it gave to the Saiyans. Like cave-people with space-age technology slapped into their homes. I like that it's very explicit that this version of Broly is not the same as the old version. Looks like my predictions for how strong Broly is in each form seems to be kind of accurate so far.
Whelp, can't argue with that logic
There’s also this sight which has an image of Goku & Frieza representing the general Anime/Manga section for the Archenemy trope.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I noticed another thing in the trailer. We know Broly and Paragus come to Earth on a Frieza Army Spaceship, but at the beginning of the trailer, it shows a Saiyan pod heading to Earth. What if that's also a part of the Bardock flashback? Another thing that helps this is that the incubators shown in the trailer match the ones in DB Minus.

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I think the movie is going to start with a flashback essentially retelling Minus (hopefully better) and there's going to be a flashback halfway through telling Broly's side of the story.
Oh I'm not disagreeing. I just find amusing that you believe wikipedia is the one that cements it.
Back on topic:
I wonder if Paragus's survival means there's more Saiyans around?

There's only so much "quality" you can squeeze from Minus....
I liked Minus, it dropped all the stuff I thought was stupid from Father of Goku (like Bardock being as strong as King Vegeta or the future sight). It was just too short to really tell much of a story. I'd be fine with a version of Minus that keeps what was good from Father of Goku.
I don’t think that, I just used it as a general example that happened to pop into my head at the moment.
Man if they use fucking Minus then the movie is gonna catch some flack for really ripping off Superman.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So it dropped one thing that mattered and one thing that didn't matter.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.So with Broly back and Bardock seemingly confirmed through flashbacks, any chance the climax might actually include Gogeta?
Gavan, Let's get jiggy! The trailer makes it seem like the fights with be a series of one v ones rather than Broly vs everyone like in movie 8. Goku appears to be alone for his fight against Broly, as well.
Still, it's certainly possible. I would have said we'd never get Gogeta until Broly came back.
At least the rap is catchy in a name-charm kinda way. The grandmother raspy voice just never sounded right.
True but Frieza doesn’t generate such venomous reactions of “He’s the worst thing to have ever happened to the franchise” or “Everything about him is absolute shit” & such similar statements.
