Also, I forgot to mention that SS4 Xeno Vegetto will a part of Universe Mission 5 in November, along with DBS: Broly content!◊

Anyways, it's funny how the Broly movie isn't even out yet and we already know like 3 different forms:

I'm always so happy at how high Yamcha places in the Heroes polls. Like, I know it's for the meme, but it's a damn strong meme if it gets him in the top 5.

Lmao, I was just wondering how it was taking so long to get SS4 Xeno Vegetto when Xeno Goku and Vegeta already had SS4 and we had Xeno Vegetto fusions from their other forms.

Side note: bad Goku/Vegeta, bad! You're not supposed to use potara in a transformed state.

Anyway, on Broly news: I agree that it's disappointing to see him in Freeza force armour, as he was specifically designed without it due to never being part of that organization. But that figure of what we're assuming is restricted SS Broly looks damn good, so I don't mind him having a unique design there.

The images of Buff Broly don't look so great, though. The colouring is just unappealing, the shade of green on both his hair and pelt look pretty off and it clashes horribly with his purple tights. Scars look pretty good.

Toyotarou's image doesn't look like it has pupils, so it might be his take on the buff design.

It looks like the colour on his neck is an updated version of the control device, if so, that's pretty disappointing. I preferred the headband version for the Sun Wukong parallels and just plain looks. I also don't see why they'd change that detail if it will play out largely the same (restricts his Super Saiyan form, breaks when he turns buff and he goes wild). Repeating that point would just be boring.

The actual restricted form is interesting, though. The golden eyes were in the trailer, and there was speculation on what they meant. Shallot also briefly has the same eyes at the end of the Legends trailer, so if they're trying to tie that together it will probably be more than just a Restricted Super Saiyan form.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes Episode 2:

If there’s one thing I’m hoping for in this movie is that they bring back the name Legendary, Hell jettison that whole “Berserker” nonsense if they have too.

He is the LEGENDARY Super Saiyan, not the Berserker Super Saiyan.

As Vegeta would say, Legendary just sounds & is plain Cooler really.

The "don't Potara fuse while transformed" rule has been completely ignored ever since the anime had base Goku and SS2 Vegeta fuse into base Vegetto.

Got to say, Golden Cooler was set up better in the manga but executed better in the anime. Both are bad, mind you, but having him and Fu actually have an on-screen conversation is a better set-up, and having him not blow literally all of his energy on a single Supernova to take out Berserk Goku, instead having him fire it at Cumber and he stays in Golden, is better.

....what? Goku and Vegeta were in base when they fused.

Not in the anime they weren't. The anime added a scene of SS2 Vegeta fighting Buuhan, and Goku had to convince him to put on the earring while he was getting his ass kicked. This led to Vegeta putting on the Potara while his hair was still yellow, and they fused like that.

EDIT: Nevermind. The anime does add that scene, but Vegeta puts the Potara on while in base. For some reason, his hair really looks like he's in Super Saiyan while he's being pulled in, though, so that confused me.

Vegeta is clearly in base form when he puts on the potara. If you're talking about his hair, pretty sure that's just an animation error.

I thought it was hilarious how manga Cooler went full "Anything he can do I can do better" and then immediately ran into the same stamina issues Frieza did.

I'm liking Base Broly's new look. The Super Saiyan? version looked way too generic, but base is pretty recognizably Broly.

New All Systems Goku

"Laid Back Camp, which I watched a couple episodes of. It's girls that go camping and one of them likes to camp alone. And the other girls in the school form some kind of outdoor adventure society club, where they try to build tents and want to go camping. Meanwhile the other girl's just camping on her own. I don't know where it goes from there. I assume one of them goes super saiyan at some point."

"I would believe that Cell could do that. He probably has some of Randy Orton's DNA in there somewhere. If he stole all the moves of the other dragonball fighters he probably stole the RKO"

They're all on the Cell arc now. They really like how this and the last batch feel like a finale with all the elements of the show coming full circle. Goku finally taking Gohan on that fishing trip he promised way back, Dende coming back, Cell fighting with everyone's moves against Goku, and Gohan's journey through the show coming to its culmination.

I liked how they described Goku's pure heart as being his greatest strength and his greatest weakness.

Next week they're doing a couple extra episodes so they will finish up the whole Cell saga.

Man, are they in for a disappointment when the Buu saga comes along if they think there's a nice bit of culmination in both Goku and Gohan's stories.

Still, I should really give these guys a look. It's always fun seeing someone experience a story for the first time.

Just 'cause, here's my predictions on how strong Broly is going to be in each of his forms:

SS2 Goku =< Base Broly
SSG Goku < Restricted SS1 Broly
SSB Goku =< SS1 Broly
SSB KKx20 Goku < LSS Broly
UI Goku >= Broly's form beyond Legendary Super Saiyan, because you just know that he's going to have some new super form.

You know, I think Broly looks quite good in the Frieza armor. Makes him look even more badass.

I have to agree that Broly in Freeza armor is good, and it makes sense if Freeza's the one who unseals him from whatever he's sealed in. I like Broly wearing a shirt for once (even if it's inevitably not going to last).

Broly’s legendary pecs are too much for any armor to handle.

OK, it's been some time since I've looked into Dragon Ball, so could I get a quick update? Anything interesting, any important news?

Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan is back as the main villain for the upcoming December movie with a reimagined backstory & character written straight from Toriyama.
