I suppose when you put it like that, it makes sense. However I want to know why Cell's Trunks never realized there was some kind of bug monster eating people for the two years Cell was in his own timeline, since he stated that "at first there was resistance", meaning he was "born" really weak and had to eat thousands of people before he could have a chance of absorbing the androids/killing Trunks. It also makes me wonder how Too Clever by Half Dr Gero was when he knew that, if he was already dead by the time Cell emerged, it probably meant that the Z-Fighters would be around to stop the bug monster before he surpasses them in strength
Oh yeah, I forgot about that

But he should have no idea how to, or even that it could be done. He would have no examples of it being done. Vegeta at least came into contact with people who could manipulate battle power.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe Mission 1 Commercial (there's a spoiler for Super at the end):
Future Trunks fighting Fu, DBS Goku fighting Time Patrol Goku, Mai looking worried, Beat going Blue, and at the end you can actually see Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku on Vegeta's card as a small icon.

Here's something to think about-did Cell know that time travel works on multiverse theory and not the ripple effect? And if so, how did he figure it out? If he didn't, wouldn't him trying to destroy the Earth be suicide since he won't be born for another 19 years, and spends another 2 eating people to mature? Especially when he explains he's in an underground bunker. With no way of knowing how the timeline works, Cell's immediate concern after Piccolo gets away should be to make sure no-one gets near that bunker
Let's be honest Cell's genetic memory letting him use other people's moves didn't make a lick of sense
Getting regeneration or zenkai boost or surviving in space fine
But the kamehameha or solar flare were techniques that had to be learned
I guess maybe Geri had VHS footage of fights that Cell watched so he could instantly learn the moves after seeing them once. It'd be funny if Cell missed the androids because he was too busy binging Netflix
Forever liveblogging the AvengersDr Gero's scientific focus is as perplexing as Hank Pym's for that matter
Forever liveblogging the AvengersItd be funny if he learned through some manner of VR simulation
That were basically DBZ video games

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat Heroes trailer is neat. More of SS4 Goku fighting SSB Goku is good, can't believe it took them this long to do this, but whatever. Does Vegeta's card name his new form? Can't tell if it's just Heroes' wonky lighting or if Mastered Ultra Instinct is going to be Super Saiyan Silver. Either way, it'll be cool.

Can I just say that I really like the fact that Goku has the Capsule Corp. logo on his gi in Heroes?

This song needs more love.Open question:
How do you think the series would go if Raditz never came to Earth? What sort of hijinks would ensue knowing what we know now from Super? note
And what would be the series be like if Toriyama never introduced the Saiyans? How far do you think it would have gotten? note

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Not much, I imagine. The androids likely wouldn't be as powerful, but Gero clearly overcompensated anyway and would have no fewer resources. So, death by androids minus one Trunks to fix it.
EDIT: To the second question, its hard to say. Dragon Ball was certainly popular as a gag manga, but the serious arcs were where it got its main following. There's a good chance it wouldn't have lasted as long.

He was strong enough to fight Dabura because he trained with Shin in place of Gohan. Even then, it was a hard won fight, with Shin and the Z Sword (Elder Kai) dying in the process.
