That and Black Popo.
Anyway...just watched the Abridged version of Episode of Bardock.
I've mentioned this before, but we all know the time-travel thing is bullshit. It just makes no sense. There's no logic to it.
I will say, that I think that if Bardock survived the destruction somehow, he might have been close to being a Super Saiyan. There's an interesting factor that make it possible:
He still had his tail. I mean, it's been said that A Saiyan's true power is in his or her tail right? Considering it's the key to their most well known transformation prior to Goku becoming a Super Saiyan, and that the first Super Saiyan had to be in Oozaru form to reach it, it makes sense to me that having the tail would make them stronger than not having it. They can still get strong without it, but I bet it's still easier to reach certain levels of power with it.
Just a guess though. I'm sure Saiga or someone will come in and say that's not how it works or something like that.
And when they do that's when I'll stab them admit my mistake and go back to the drawing board.
Blue Popo is mostly likely only that color because of Genie.
Also, I always thought that the Episode of Bardock happened after the events of the Bardock Mini-Arc in DBO.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!The Dragon Ball Z - Games facebook page just confirmed that Saiyans are a separate race from humans (neat). Also female Super Saiyans confirmed
.
Oh you.
Only reason I can think of is the pure catharsis of owning Saiyan Saga Vegeta, Freeza, Androids and so on with a hum-
...On second thought, that is good enough reason.
Theory! Kaioken will be their perk and substantially more powerful than super Saiyan, at the cost of whittling down your health, and energy.
You might say that's a dumb move, since Kaioken is leagues below Super Sandwich, but little to no consistency is a DB tradition.
Well, it's also dumb to make it human only since that's technically King Kai's technique, and the only one who successfully mastered it is Goku a...Saiyan...

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018DBO almost had human classes that focused on mechs and guns. Maybe that's the direction they'll take, a la Gen. Blue.

Well, in DBO's lore, they were advanced enough at that point in time to be able to compete with other classes.
Shame it never got in the game proper.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI'm pretty sick of Humans being useless in Dragon Ball.
There must be ways to make them more powerful: I mean, Cell was one of the biggest threats to the universe, and he was created by a human scientist with a grudge.
If Gero can do something like that out of revenge, why not see what more benevolent folks could do?
Maybe if they focused more on using technology to enhance them, and combine it with Martial Arts skills?

RE: Human always suck
Android 17 and 18 were human, and they demolished Super Saiyans. Frieza didn't stop being Frieza when he got his cybernetics, I don't see why we always discount 17 and 18 when talking about humans.
Goku and Vegeta aren't really that far above the humans in the cast. The Super Saiyan transformation is just an amazing multiplier, it does nothing for their base power. If you really want the humans to catch up, all you have to do is start giving them multipliers too. Comparing, say, Tien to Super Saiyan Goku isn't fair, because Super Saiyan Goku is 50 Gokus. Give Tien a x50 multiplier too and he'll be relevant again.

I'm not sure if it works that way at all.
I do wish they gave the Humans something that could give them more of a chance. I know that there are others who would say the humans aren't meant to be important, and never were meant to be important, but most of the action takes place on Earth. They SHOULD be doing more.
Hell, look at Battle Of Gods. Super Saiyan Goku got stomped first, and then what? If they hadn't been lucky enough to find out what Super Saiyan God was, they would have been wiped out, and even then, it wasn't enough.
It was Beerus' decision to show some mercy that saved them.
So what if there had been no Goku to help. They need a way to carry their own weight again. Yeah, Krillin was doing stuff up until Frieza, but that isn't enough. They need to have something for those times where there is no Goku or Vegeta or Gohan.
The potential is there since two of the best techniques in the series were invented by humans: The Kienzan / Destructo Disk (which could be a Game-Breaker if Krillin could hit someone with it, or maybe learn to remote control it the way Frieza did with his version) and the Taiyouken / Solar Flare, (which continues to be useful well into the later parts of the series).
Perhaps they need more techniques that don't rely on pure power, but on getting around enemy defences instead, or attacking them in ways they don't expect.
And then there's the Kaiouken, which is still an untapped resource for everyone but Goku (who doesn't use it anymore anyway).
I'm with Team Humanity!!!!
One Strip! One Strip! That's exactly how it works.
The Super Saiyan transformation multiplies a Saiyan's power x50 while they are in it. Super Saiyan 2 is a x100 multiplier, while Super Saiyan 3 brings them to x400.
As far as what it does to their power goes, it's just a more powerful Kaioken that only Saiyans can perform. It has no effect on their base power, which is why Goku discovered that training in Base is more effective than training in Super: any gain made in Super mode would be 1/50th of what you would achieve making the same gain in Base.
If you think about it, Cell Saga Piccolo was the most powerful character in the show at that point in time, because the Saiyans needed huge multipliers to even compare to him. Namekians get ridiculously huge permanent power boosts from their special brand of fusion, while Saiyans have to make do with temporary multipliers.
If anyone's overpowered, it's the Namekians. If you want the humans to catch up, just let them have a multiplier too.

Does anybody have a spare Japanese PSN account I can borrow?
Goku left Vegeta in the dust on Namek, but that's nothing an offscreen training session couldn't clear right up. When Vegeta returns with his Super Saiyan transformation - the exact same multiplier Goku was using, mind you - he's closed the insanely huge gap that already existed between him and Goku due to Goku's x100 gravity training.
Because that's all it takes to catch up for characters with access to the Super Saiyan form: a few years training offscreen. The only reason the humans couldn't ever hope to catch up to the Saiyans is that x50 multiplier, which means that it's not enough for Tien to be as strong as Goku; he has to be 50x MORE POWERFUL than Goku to compare.

But then he could take revenge for the death of his people.
Don't deny him that right.

So because one Sayian caught to another, suddenly humans can suddenly do the same? After Goku surpassed some human, not once did they managed to caught up to him, and that was true long before Super Sayian came into play. Heck even Piccolo had to abuse fusion to stay competitive past Raditz.

I have a feeling there will be a ton of Albino Namekians out there if possible. This fandom just can't resist a DBZA reference.
