So he's going to die and level up?
Or are people just really insensitive pointing at him and going "YOU HAVE GREY SKIN LOL"
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
x3: The "Assassin Pride=Rubbish" line makes sense now, but not for the righteous heroic reasons some people theorized earlier.
Actually, an earlier discussion reminded me that, in addition to being Superman, Batman, Sasuke, and Saitama, Jiren's also part Toguro to some people. Jesus. talk about identity crisis. Maybe he did kill his master and colleagues without even realizing it?

It's weird to me that all of team Goku comes from two and a half planets
You'd think an entire universe would have more to draw from
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI mean Jesus man, you act as if this is the only site on the Internet that talks about this show. If negativity bothers you so much, go to another website where it's nothing but endless praise for everything. I'm sure you'd find that easily.
See that's fine & dandy & all, but it's more than just a few problems with Super. If people want complaint it then sure power to them. It's no different from Kazenshuu & Reddit as far I'm concern.
Sorry I offended you on that. It's not like that I'm going to revoke your fanboy card.
Assuming that's how it plays out anyways.

Indeed they could have.
Besides I think I would have liked the introduction of a new teammate.
I mean its been over 2 decades since Frieza died, someone could have popped up. Not as powerful as Frieza of course but strong enough to warrant scouting.
That or just bring in Monaka cause we all know he could have wrecked Jiren with his pinky.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."A thought just now occurred to me: It is amusing how Dragon Ball is the alien shonen.
The cast is mostly comprised of extraterrestrial beings & their is a lot of sci-fi elements in comparison to most shonen in general who keep the setting set on Earth & within mortal confines with the most out there beings being Earthbound Gods & Demons.
What makes this interesting is how old DB is & to this day I can't think of many shonen that's as out there as DB.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Is that even a thing in the anime?
Two attacks. He stole the one inch punch from Bruce Lee.
Question: which would work better for a live-action Puar? A cartoony CGI cat creature with the proportions and overall look of Puar in the Manga and Anime, or a more realistic CGI floating cat that looks more like a Russian Blue kitten
?
I wasn't referencing the Super manga's version, but how SS works in general as explained by Goku in the manga. It was part of the background behind Full Power Super Saiyan.

I don't think Puar can be adapted to live action without being completely different.

Fair enough about the sub-thread.
I suspected Jiren wasn't an almighty hero of justice. His name is Jiren the Grey after all.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
