The problem is exacerbated by this being the final arc. It's just sad that a big portion of the arc, especially leading into the finale, is deficated to a side character from several arcs ago intead of the main secondaries.
It'd be one thing if there was another arc later to return to a normal cast focus. But this is how Super ends: not with a bang, but a moan from 17 as he climaxes
Ha indeed.
Okay I think we ascertain that Manga-Jiren & Anime-Jiren are completely different people with bare similarities. What I got from Jiren this episode is that he's a revenge driven power-hungry asshole who cares nothing for saving people.
He really is just some random asshole the Pride Troopers happened to pick up. I think Topp is just being nice when he called him his "sworn friend".
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Eh, I wouldn't expect much from those guys anyway. Well, except normally Vegeta wouldn't be doing dick either, but he's been wanked a bit as well.
As funny as that is, I don't think it's gonna help inspire more people to come to this thread.
One Strip! One Strip!Right. I totally forgot the real reason I came to the thread:
Add in the Ki landmines, and Goku has three attacks that he came up with on his own. You know, that's actually not that different from everyone else. Three to four special techniques is the bare minimum isn't it?
One Strip! One Strip!Apparently, in spoilers for next episode
Vegeta hears Bulma's voice when he's on the verge of unconsciousness. From an in-universe perspective, this seems repetitive. From an out-of-universe perspective, this could be the biggest Tear Jerker in the whole of the Dragon Ball franchise.
So since we already had an episode where Vegeta got to do the Final Flash he did on Cell and the Final Explosion/Atonement he did on Buu, what old scene are they going to reanimate the decomposing corpse of for his next episode? The savage beating he got from Frieza? The Final Crash he did on Recoome?
![]()
I'm gonna go with the beating by Kid Buu.
Ya know the one where he actually did held the line as Goku charged up a Spirit Bomb & Vegeta like a badass back then never backed down to the point a barely sentient eldritch abomination for the first time ever felt fear in front of his awe-inspiring determination.
Difference here of course is its not gonna be half as badass or inspiring. Just tiring.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Are you enjoying the episodes?
Man, this episode really highlighted how little personal connection anybody has with Jiren as an antagonist. And how boring this whole affair has become. It took until now for things to actually get personal with him, and it wasn't even with Goku lol.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.@Pushover, regarding your spoilers, who can something like that be repetitive in Universe? It's not like Vegeta is telling anyone he's thinking about those things, and it's not like him thinking about his wife doesn't make sense.
Those things don't feel repetitive just because they happen more than more than once, they feel repetitive because the writers are clearly trying to recreate emotion without understanding why something was actually emotional in the first place.
Yeah, maybe. Depends on what the context is, I guess. If Vegeta hallucinates Bulma telling him to get up and keep fighting, and he does and makes a speech about how he will never give up, it'll be repetitive. If Vegeta hallucinates Bulma telling him that it's okay to give up and leave it to Goku and come home to his family, then it'll be heartbreaking. It'll be heartbreaking for the audience either way, what with Hiromi Tsuru's passing.
You mean it's not as easy as this thread makes it out to be?

There's very much a distinction, the latter tends to pop up...at least that ends up being the impression from the wording.
It's very noticeable.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm pretty sure it's always suppose to be the former...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Or maybe...and this is just a thought.
Maybe...people, have different tastes and preferences on what they consider good and enjoyable and that sometimes, what someone finds good, another person might not feel the same way.
It's almost like...we're human or something like that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.

I suspected something similar myself.
17 has been out of the game for a long time so they perhaps wanted to get a lot of mileage out of him.
I don't expect people to like that, but I could see that being the reason.
One Strip! One Strip!
