Unless there was something new, one of the Dragon Ball Heroes trailers showed Goku and Frieza fighting Jiren but that was a while ago, well before Ultra Instinct.
This song needs more love. They really wrote themselves into a corner by making Jiren as strong as he was. He had to spend long stretches of the tournament doing nothing just to give everyone else a fighting chance, but now that's come to bite them in the ass since Jiren should be fresh enough to clean house.
No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!Yeah. And unlike Freeza (where you could argue the same principle took place) Jiren has no incentive to draw this battle out (since he's not massively sadistic).
Though Jiren not just wiping the table clean with everyone at the start of the tournament is already pushing it for me, tbh.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Maybe he is massively sadistic. He's apparently a bad friend. What else has he been hiding?

It is. It's more amusing to have two separate camps who simply can't reconcile which character is better than to have mutual agreement that both characters have a right to exist.
Team Vegeta is constantly bogged down by Vegeta being second-fiddle to Goku, so Super has been a great win with Vegeta getting to do things.
Team Goku is constantly bogged down by accusations of Goku being a bad father and a bad person in general, and Super has absolutely not helped in that regard.
What I'm saying is Team MysGoku sucks and Team Vegeta is clearly the superior breed of Dragonball fan.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Vegeta isn't bogged down by being second fiddle to Goku he's bogged down by constantly doing stupid things to power up the enemy.
Everyone is behind Goku in some regard.
Super has improved on that marginally, both by having him do it paternally (Cabba) and by having Goku's idocy grow to eclipse Vegeta's.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"While I think tossing Cell the bean was a stupid, stupid idea, the actual plan was to back Gohan into a corner - and when that finally happened (thanks 16) it worked like a charm until Gohan fucked up.
And then, as Saiga pointed out to me once, Goku came up with and executed what was pretty much a flawless plan to move the exploding Cell away safely and went through with it, at the cost of his own life with basically zero hesitation.
Vegeta, on the other hand, let Cell go perfect with absolutely zero idea of what sort of power increase that would be.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"But... he didn't have to sacrifice his own life, did he? Why didn't he IT back to Earth before Cell exploded? Hell, he could've taken King Kai with him too.
No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans! Its a brave man that not only sacrifices his own life but the life of a friend too.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's funny to me that Cell gives Goku ten seconds.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I waited five to ten minutes, came back to edit that, and you replied seconds after I changed it. -_-
Anyway, point taken.
So, what, did Goku not say goodbye to everyone? Did Cell not give them 10 seconds?
It seems like instant teleportation, and Goku already being fast enough to run a 100-meter dash in under 10 seconds as a child, would make him fast enough to teleport Cell, jog over and grab King Kai, and teleport back to Earth before those seconds were up.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

I am annoyed though that Vegeta is lasting this long.
He should be in no condition to fight after using the Final Explosion.
