Personally I feel that Super waste the potential it has, and the things I like about it are just the smallest amount of that potential leaking through. All the Go Ds, Zamasu, all the teams, Freiza coming back, Ultra Instinct and etc. Even if the Kefla and Goku battle was BS in terms of power levels, I still enjoyed it for being an actually entertaining battle, rather than what happened this episode. My favorite was Piccolo and Gohan facing U6 Namekians, because both sides fought with dignity and no arrogant speeches followed by "Impossible!" and treating the battle seriously.

I agree with you. I feel the arc became boring the moment Hit and Cabba were defeated, since it meant the interesting dynamic was gone. After that, we got Caulifla and Kale shilling, Universe 4 being retards, Universe 3 revealing their master stroke, and Universe 11 being arrogants without being complex about it.
This is the Super Buu fight all over again.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Universe 7 OP, plz nerf. Seriously though, ever since Frost was a dumbass and trusted Frieza, Universe 7 has only lost its members once in a while and usually either Taking You with Me or trickery. I don't think there's a single member who lost in a straight 1-1 fight. Even now, they have the number advantage. Talk about Plot Armor
I don't think there's a single member who lost in a straight 1-1 fight.
There have been Universe 7 members that lost one on one fights before in the Tournament of Power (Goku losing to Jiren, Vegeta losing to Jiren, and Freeza losing to Toppo). It's just that they didn't get knocked out of the ring.
Now that I can agree with

That's a consistent complain about Dragon Ball in general.
Raditz = Wasted Potential
Zarbon = Wasted Potential
Android 17 = Wasted Potential
Dabura = Wasted Potential
Gt = Wasted Potential (Except Super 17, that was horrible from beginning to end)
Super = Wasted Potential
Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm still here. This is the Sonic the hedgehog situation all over again.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.
I'm quoting Laughing Stock Media. I don't like him, he has a boring voice and matter of speaking.
People generally like Zarbon, and some believe he could make a compelling character if explored a bit.
Ok, I'm mostly cheating, I couldn't think of a wasted potential situation in the Freeza saga. Nail?

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.While I understand the complaints against U7 being the one to defeat almost all of the other universes, I actually feel that this specifically was explained and executed rather well. Having Goku and by extension U7 become enemy number 1 to all other universes in the tournament gives a good reason for almost all of them to target U7 and turns our universe into the underdogs with the odds stacked against them. I would've liked if we got to see a little more of the other universes fighting each other, though.
Zarbon seemed really fine to me. Honestly one of the better sub-villains of the series.
I do wish they did more with Nail's concept though. Having Piccolo get swole by inheriting other Namekian's power (like the two namekians in the TOP) would be super cool if they could justify it somehow.
GT I think did fine with its potential. It was its core concept that was flawed, but ended up giving us some really good stuff like SSJ 4 and the Dark Dragon Ball Saga.
Super is really dropping the (dragon) ball though.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeGT is seriously overhated. I won't pretend it doesn't have a ton of issues but I don't find it to be nearly as bad as everyone claims.
This song needs more love.History Repeats, except this time, Super has above average videogames unlike Gt, which had terrible games during its time.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.
Are you counting "during its time" as the time it was airing or just the time it was the most recent Dragon Ball series because the only Super game I would consider even close to Budokai 3 and the final two Tenkaichis is FighterZ.
Things might have been a little better if the anime and manga had been more consistent with each other.
I mean, instead of doing both at the same time, start one (maybe the manga), let it run for a bit, and then do the anime, with the occasional cours and filler arcs (provided they don't contradict something that comes later). It might have tightened things a little.
One Strip! One Strip!

Don't worry PMC. I understand how you feel, I've been on those shoes before.
Of course I enjoyed the originals eries. When I was re-reading Dragon Ball, the original Dragon ball was the most fun to read, while of Z, I only found the Frieza arc and half-the Buu arc entertaining, which is ironic since I found the Frieza saga to be the most boring of them all when I was a kid.
