James Marsters is a weird case. First, he had no idea what Dragon Ball was, then they hired him to play King Piccolo in Evolution. He did research on the character and became such a fan of Dragon Ball that he made the crew change Piccolo to look more like the original version of the character. And now he's voicing Zamasu, another green villain who's the main antagonist of an arc of a show that only exists because of how awful Evolution was.

Yeah. I just checked that out on his wiki page.
I mean, it certainly wasn't the best way to be introduced to the franchise, but it's hilarious that he became One Of Us.
I wish I'd known that when he showed up at a convention a few years back, but I've deliberately learned as little about Evolution as possible, so I had no idea he was even Piccolo.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, he sounds fine in both Xenoverse and FighterZ. Only minor criticism would be that the direction could be better, but I'm sure Funimation will smooth that out in the show proper.
Episode 122 animation breakdown.
My favorite cut of animation was definitely Goku's soft blue hair, I love it whenever Super Saiyan hair is drawn kind of poofy and with a real hair-like texture to it.

Ya know I jave been rewatching the original 2D Star Wars: Clone Wars show & Goddamn that show is a tresure. Everything from the cinematography, fight choreography, music, art, its a true testament to the beauty 2D animation can reach.
I especially like how the fights are generally completely silent. No talking, just letting the animation speak for itself as we are not constantly interrupted by people explaining shit we just saw. One reason why the UI Goku vs Jiren fight was so good, both of them were not talking. Oh sure we constantly got talking by the peanut gallery but those 2 never talked & just focused on beating the shit outta each other.
We need people to start shutting up when fighting.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."You know I thought the time travel stuff was rough with just three timelines so it having like, five just for Cell and ten for Goku Black really shows what a Pandora's Box the whole thing is in storytelling terms.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"The biggest obstacle to time travel in storytelling is the audience overthinking it. It requires almost complete suspension of disbelief in order to work in most cases.

I think that in the case of the Majin Vegeta fight, it’s because he’d used his powers to transport them or something like that.
They were still connected to the ship and as such he could take the energy more directly. Or at a least that’s my guess.
One Strip! One Strip! They were still on the ship...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I wonder if Goku Black's grey eyes while in Rose has any relation to Ultra Instinct's silver eyes. On the one hand, it seems like an odd leap in logic to make, that they're connected in any way. On the other hand, though, Rose is a form that is the result of a god's soul being inside a Saiyan's body, presumably Goku would have Rose if he has taken Kami or Whis up on their offers to become gods, and Ultra Instinct is supposed to be like the pinnacle of godliness.
@soble: they were technically still inside his ship, like randomness said. Remember that when Babidi teleported them, the doorway to the next floor transported with them, and was still fully functional (it still lead deeper into the ship despite now being located in a wasteland).

Careful, that's how you wind up with Primer.
I think the Awesome.Dragon Ball Super page might need some trimming—it's very episodic and very long, and while Dragon Ball has high concentrations of awesomeness per episode it still makes it super long. The Awesome.Dragon Ball page is similarly long but is divided by character, not arc (albeit that page is full of natter XD;). The Awesome.Dragon Ball GT one seems to be the best-formatted.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah I think branching timelines are best and work fine in the Trunks arc. Plague is just very clearly wrong if Pushover's line about Trunks killing Cell is accurate - that is amazingly wrong. There are issues but they're not related to the mechanics of time travel, just weird character decisions that are norm for DB.
I feel like a lot of criticisms about time travel are from people who don't actually bother thinking about it. It's fine to ctiticize the idea as being more complicated than you want, it's not fair to say it doesn't make sense if you don't give it thought.
Super has the issue Sigil mentioned of acting like different kinds of time travel are being used, without consistency between them. And as far as I know there's still no explanation for how Trunks ended up in the timeline BEFORE Zamasu turns evil - if the timelines are now synced, then the Black timeline and present timeline should always be in the same period and by the time Black travels to Trunks' time, it should be too late to do anything about Zamasu without deliberately traveling back further to change things.

Super isn't the only one with that issue. There's also the case of the original Cell Arc.
Also, Saiga, you can not watch the video, but you shouldn't not watch the video and then criticize it.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"The present and future timelines are synched in that the future timeline is about 17 years ahead. Black just didn't go further in the future than 17 years using the time ring.
I will say this, Super doesn't explain how Black is able to cross timelines using the Time Ring, but then again Shin and Gowasu do the same thing, so it's presumably just another power the Time Rings have. In addition to letting you travel into the future, travel through already open time rifts temporarily, and make you immune to time paradoxes.

It's possible that he's still a placeholder in FighterZ. Zamasu only has like two or three lines.
