That actually does seem wrong, but it's probsly not.

no i say that because every scene with them in it is a waste of time
also because they really don't make sense within the setting. Any human who deliberately approaches Black should just be killed.
They should be like scared survivors, not a defense force....
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Is Kalfa consistently the proper width of a Saiya-jin adult?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It seems like Super is justifying Kefla's strength by virtue of "people that are closer have greater affinity and strength when fused".
I guess that's consistent with what we've seen of fusion from other places in the series? But this is taken to a new extreme.
Also Goku somehow pulls off UI on the verge of losing again. Where does he get this energy? Find out never on Dragon Ball Super!
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeGoku can only pull off ui without energy at this point it seems. Hes gotta push himself tp the limit with no way of survival and then his body starrs working on its own.
Which is also working against him because they mentionwd he didnt go ui a third time earlier and said his body is getting used to those limits.
With Universe 12 eliminated I officially have an opinion on Ribrianne
Personally I think she was almost perfect as a magical girl gag. If she wasn't initially insufferable and the "haha she's fat and people think she's pretty" joke wasnt there she might have even been one of my favorite characters.
The three dudes undergoing the transformation was damn near perfect though. A far more effective "they're not pretty magical girls! ha!" joke than Ribrianne's was.
I'm not even sure why Super bothered with that joke anyway. All it did was make it unclear whether Ribrianne was meant to be taken seriously or not- especially since we have another larger bodied female as a minor antagonist that doesn't have that joke applied to her.
In any case I guess I like the concept behind Ribrianne (with a Magical Girl being placed in a battle manga and being super dangerous due to the nature of their powers) more than her execution (being "haha she's fat" and "look she talks about love but is terrible!")
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeYa think they could have used that whole powered by love especially by a whole universes worth of love to better effect.
I mean seriously that would have been such an easy ass way to justify her being on equal grounds to the protagonists but no they still treated her like a joke who only lasted as long as she did cause Goku is an idiot.
I mean Goddamn how do you fuck up something so simple?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Some DB Super Easter Eggs that may or may not have gone noticed by ya'll hardcore nuts.
Is neat.

I mean, that's not how she was treated. Goku was never actually portrayed by the narrative as an idiot for not using Super Saiyan to beat her. Ribrianne has very inconsistent showings, but the fact that she got the first quarter of the special to show off seems to indicate that the narrative thinks she's important. I think Super really should've either had Goku fight her in Super Saiyan or establish that the Godly Ki base is a thing, but during their whole fight, the commentators are gushing about how strong and resolved U2 are, and we're clearly supposed to see Ribrianne as powerful and impressive.
Is not work.

You only say that because they're completely ineffectual, and end up all being killed anyway rather anticlimactically.
