Maybe the metal in Magetta and the U3 robots is more durable than the most durable material in the multiverse... the stage REALLY should've just been made out of a notably durable rock. Kachi Katchin doesn't even look like metal or normal Katchin.
@Rob The Dragon Ball Super manga is available for free on Viz's website, and it goes from the end of Goku vs Frost to recruiting the U7 teammates for the Tournament of Power and Jiren's introduction. Because of the manga's breakneck pace, you can read everything available in 30 minutes to an hour.

Nothing we've seen in the series so far has come close to putting even a dent on Magetta. Hence the joke "vulnerable to insults" thing.
re manga Hit's fight in the U6 tourney: Hit went down like a chump, as he didn't show the same way of keeping pace with Goku. It's been a while, but I remember that by being more powerful, Goku in Blue was enough to negate his Time Skip.
Goku also says Vegeta would’ve beaten Hit easily if he hadn’t fought Cabba and Mageta so apparently God wasn’t even necessary. The manga really dipped in quality in the U6 tournament and the Goku Black arc.

Do you know what people want the most? Something somebody else has.Its a natural consequence of making the God forms look powerful, subsequently the opponents they're used on have to look inferior to make them appear stronger.
Goku still had to use the God forms to overcome Hit's time skip, so that at least means Hit is just below god level, which while not as impressive as trading blows with them, is still pretty damn noteworthy at least.
Truthfully, I do like how the Manga actually makes them look strong considering their power showings in the Anime. God level is shown as a true prestige that not just anybody can achieve, and far outclasses anything that's not on that level.
That being said, it does make the other characters look worse since almost none of them are on that level.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So watching the episode where golu dooms the multiverse...
I'm not sure why people are holding Goku as such a terrible being? Like, Goku had no idea that zen oh was planning on erasing the universes, and even he was shocked at the notion
However there's no excusing Goku being a huge dumbass afterwards tho

That kind of gets ruined when you see him trade blows with Kaioken Blue though. I mean yea, Rule of Cool, but Hit should have been wall paste the second Goku hit him.
There's also the fact that the Anime added the fact that Hit can just lengthen his time skip at will with no limit, rather than simply using his full power to overcome the difference in strength from SSG.
He's just really Blase about the whole thing, as if the fate of the universes matters less than getting into a good fight. Which yea, you can argue is "in character", but it doesn't really make you wanna root for him over people who actually want to save their universes.

He was warned that Zeno is unpredictable and to leave it alone. At the same time, I feel like there's a pretty huge gap between "unpredictable" and "will erases universes that lose so that it has stakes".
Of course, he was also told that Zeno has already erased six universes because he got made once so...and from then on it's basically just damage control.
My take on that has basically been him not enjoying it won't save the universe so there's not point in not doing so. When he first heard about the things, he wanted to go try and talk Zeno out of it but was told no. And at this point, I don't think Goku is really being any more lax about the whole thing than most of other people fighting.

There shouldn't be any tension, a universe was erased....
It's not like anything of value is at stake...apparently...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. If the characters took things as seriously as they would in real life, they'd all be sobbing wrecks unable to do anything. So, I'm willing to accept this sort of thing. Besides, you could say that the contestants are deliberately ignoring the reason they're fighting so that they can function.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I prefer the anime's version of the Zen Exhibition Match over the manga's version.
The anime's version gave Buu his only fight in all of Super in either medium, and a damn good one at that. The anime's fight also sends a message and hypes the Tournament of Power rather well: "Look at how awesome the battles between three mortal fighters from the 2 shittiest universes are! Just imagine the battles between ten mortal fighters from the next 6 better universes!" It also sets up U9 and the Trio De Dangers as a soft introduction to the greater multiverse very well, and breaks down Rou's arrogance deliciously when he learns that for all his boasting, U9 is the worst universe BY FAR.
The manga's version is cool, and while seeing the Gods of Destruction fight is awesome, it's ultimately pointless fanservice given that none of them are even participating in the Tournament of Power. It also either doesn't have a message, or it's a very confused one: "Stop! Zeno can't follow the action of 8 Hakaishin all fighting each other at once, so let's disqualify them from the Tournament and make the Tournament of Power into a mortal-only battle in the same format with 10 times the number of competitors!" Either way, it doesn't generate hype nearly as well.

Well, that's why I said it hypes the tournament 'rather well' instead of 'really well'. It kind of loses a bit of impact with the benefit of hindsight, but in the moment it was strong. Also, the Grand Priest didn't expect godly tier fighters from U7, since he made the announcement in question before Goku vs Bergamo.
That's the current knowledge, but when they were first mentioned there were a ton of theories flying around as to what they actually refer to.
A lot of people assumed Power Levels, and they flipped their shit trying to figure out how it made sense. The general assumption from the Power Levels crowd was either "all the universes aside from U9 have stronger fighters than in U7" or "the main cast of U7 are extreme outliers in a sea of pathetic weaklings, and Mortal Levels refer to the average power level of the universe".

Wait, hold on a second. Vegeta in SS can't deal damage to Magetta, but the wind pressure from Caulifla and Goku kicking each other is enough to shatter kachi katchin?
