Quitela did. He threatened to destroy everyone else and was erased mid-sentence.
Anyways, I thought this episode was badass as hell. 18 getting saved a lot doesn't really matter much to me since Goku and Gohan have been saved at least as many times as her each, and her brother is the team's residential Barrier Warrior. She still got really cool moments and saved her teammates every now and then.

Universe 6 was my least hated, for sure. Not that there are many choices to pick from.

That's not true at all. His time jump is less effective the more of a power advantage you have, not ineffective. Against people of similar power to him, it's incredibly effective and lets him win without using much stamina. It could even allow him to defeat an opponent stronger than him if the gap isn't too great.
On 121 - Man, this whole fight was completely unnecessary. It made the last episode pointless by having Gohan eliminate no-one, then they did basically the same combined attack against Aniraza but threw in 17 and Freeza. Didn't like that they just gave Aniraza Janemba's power, that's pretty uncreative and was already rehashed with manga Zamasu. Also, Piccolo's explanation for it was incredibly stupid. Anyway, it was really silly that they had Vegeta use regular Super Saiyan to attack Aniraza and then hyped up his power off that. And then Goku goes God and they continue fighting like that despite this guy being 'much' stronger than the combined mechs that fought Gohan and the Blue Saiyans? That's so stupid.
It's nice to see 18 getting damseled again, and giving up so fucking easily. Why doesn't she create a forcefield, huh? And she sacrifices herself for 17, ringing herself out AND giving 17 motivation to get a much cooler moment than her. Weeeee.
So given that 17 can't fly, how the hell did he push through Aniraza's attack? He jumped, hit the attack and was stopped then used effort to push through and keep going. That doesn't make any sense, he doesn't have a means of locomotion when he's already in the air. Why take away their flight if you're just going to write them as being able to fly when it matters?
You know what? I liked this fight, and none of you serial complainers are going to take away from that. This was a hell of a lot more than I was expecting out of Universe 3, and Aniraza was, surprisingly enough, pretty cool.
Also Freeza did a thing for once.
Final showdown coming up, and Vegeta gets to be knocked out first, as usual, it seems.
Also, am I right in thinking there is no episode next week?
Honestly my biggest problem with the Hatchiyack Platinum Version fight was that they felt the need to condense it into one episode. If they had just scrapped the megazord from the last episode and given H2: Hatchiyack United that one it would have been easier to get his point across.
This song needs more love. We're never actually given a reason Dr. Paparoni didn't want to do that, which is weird. There doesn't seem to be any downside, which leaves you wondering why they didn't just do this from the very beginning and try and wipe out everyone in one big go or whatever.

Yeah, after they defused I couldn't tell why exactly they needed to avoid that.
edit: Honestly, I just wouldn't have Aniraza. Weird design for U 3, and all he did was ring out 18. Could have had Paparoni confront 17 and 18 separately with his rumored control powers, and 18 get ringed out in that fight.

But this is Dragonball. The gap is always great, with the lone exception of Goku's tournament opponents (Roshi, Tien and Piccolo, who was still only slightly behind Goku when they fought Raditz, and was more powerful when using the Makankosappo / Special Beam Cannon).
For all my complaints about Power Levels, after a while, I realized there are really only two: so low that you've already lost, or so high that you barely need to try.
As for 18 not having a barrier...that's a good fucking question. Why doesn't she have one? I suppose for the same reason that 17 is stronger: Sexism Dr Gero didn't give her one to make her easier to control.

So they did that thing where a character's ultimate technique is some forbidden power that apparently has some intense repercussion but it ends up being nothing problematic.
Just cheap drama & hyping really.
Wish they'd stop doing that if nothing bad really happens.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The gap is always great except for the many, many times it isn't.
Hit was confident his skip would work on God, who was stronger than him, it just couldn't work on a full power Blue. And by the sounds of it, Goku had to be careful not to use Blue too early lest his power drop to a level at which Hit can affect him again.
Even if it worked on no-one more powerful than him, it's still a near auto-win against anyone of equal strength without expending much stamina which is huge.
Maybe so, but I don't trust the series to not have every opponent Hit faces to be strong enough to no sell it.
It's ok for the heroes to fall prey to it, because then they have to work to find a way to win (as Goku did), but once it's served it's purpose, I expect it to fail all the time due to the enemy being stronger for the sake of drama.
One Strip! One Strip!Meh. It's not like I'm alone in that regard.
And with me, you know exactly what you're getting.
An extremely handsome and wise troper.
Wow they actually are not trying.
Homaging ain't no excuse for a lack of creativity.
Its actually an OVA, "Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans"
Oh yeah it did start out as a game before then being turned into an OVA.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Goddamnit why is no-one getting erased trying to call out and get enraged at Zen'o? He's killing trillions upon trillions, and when they lose zero fighters there is literally no reason to use their last seconds to curse him!
