Eh, Hit knocked Jiren back with one heavy punch, and he's weaker than Vegeta is, physically. Goku also didn't use Kaioken during much of his fight with Jiren, most notably in the first punch which knocked Jiren back half the arena's length and his Kamehameha, which Jiren was surprised at and bothered to dodge.
Inb 4 Jiren is using 1% of his ppower to fight Vegeta.
Speaking of 17, does he has to use his forcefield for everything? Like I get it, it's his signature move, but geez.
Kaioken does not actually have any effect on Super Saiyan Blue, Goku just uses it to psyche out his opponents.

This song needs more love.Shield is way more fun of a signature move than "differently colored beam" so I'm fine with it showing up a bunch.
Next episode: Vegeta kicking Jiren in the gut isn't that farfetched. Remember that Ultra Instinct against Jiren was actually weaker than Goku's Blue Kaioken, and he still knee'd Jiren pretty nice.
And January's episode looking pretty sweet as well, base on the preview itself:
Jiren's holy crap expression at the end of the promo is so well drawn. ]
So Anizara's part Janemba too? I love that fusion even more. Wasn't expecting Mosuko to be piloted, which is hilarious none the less.

That wasn't directed at you, that was to Moth. I didn't see how the thread moved.
I agree that 17's using it in a better way than spamming the same old moves, but it's such a departure to how he previously fought that the end result is off to me. I don't like Super having radically different style of fights without much explanation behind why everyone fights differently now.

The editting of the NEP could be misleading. Vegeta lands a blow but it could still end with Jiren not actually budging.
That... was underwhelming. And while Super has it's many problems, I honestly rarely say that. It felt like they designed Aniraza to be incredibly powerful and have very interesting powers, and then realized that they wrote themselves into a corner they didn't have the time to get out of, so they just had him fall right abruptly as they were building him up. It's all really rushed: "Aniraza's faster than all of us! Aniraza can teleport punch! Aniraza can eat people! Aniraza can fly! He's got a superpowerful blast! Oh, he's dead, never mind."
And nothing ever came out of the eating people thing beyond giving us another excuse to put our one female member in jeopardy (after which point she immediately sacrifices herself anyway). He doesn't even try to do it again, even though the characters hype it up as a superior strategy. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't already have tons of battles just like this in this arc already: literally the only thing any of that accomplished was getting rid of 18, which doesn't feel like it was worth dedicating an entire episode to justifying.

Though yeah, now that it's down to two universe, this arc felt more like a gauntlet than an actual tournament. Like, if they really wanted to hype up Universe 11 as the final bosses, I feel like they should have eliminated a couple of the universe themselves.
Like in this episode, have Jiren be the one to eliminate not!Hatchiyack.

I do admit, Gohan is lasting way longer than I expected him to given he's looked rather....terrible in this arc.
The real darkhorse however is 17, who somehow made it to the final fight between the two universes. Somebody on the staff must really like him lol.
Good ole Super, fuck Power Levels am I right.
