Who's this mysterious youth? Is this a Xenoverse thing?
Really? I mean, I guess if you pull a knife or use a gun, but if a dude is bigger and stronger than you, than it's gonna be pretty hard to beat them, it's just that Dragonball exaggerates it. In real life, there might be something you can do (even if it's cheating) to bridge the gap, but in dragon ball, unless you just become stronger than that dude, you've already lost.
Also, that instance from the Dark Knight Returns wasn't even Bruce trying to win that fight. He knew he couldn't, and the only reason it lasted as long as it did was because Superman was weakened before hand, and wasn't even trying to hurt him in the first place.
One Strip! One Strip!
He's Xenoverse 2 DLC
and bears a striking resemblance to a grown-up version of Fu, Towa and Mira's son from DB Online.

This song needs more love.Superman was trying to hurt him (after Bruce pulled that stunt with the electricity) but he wasn't trying to kill him. But yes, that fight is all about Batman stacking the deck to get a win. When your opponent is Superman you take what you can get.
In real life, beating a guy who's twice as strong as you can be down to as little as "he's having a bad day".

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"I was talking about the fight with the mutant leader from the first movie not Superman which was in the second.
First movie was better than the second. The fight choreography in the mutant leader fight was fucking amazing.

Why is Satan a Super Saiyan?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hmm. Probably. The second half leans on the voice actor more and he isn't super great for the part. As adaptions of the comic book they're okay but not amazing.
All of the final fights in DKR are really solid but I do agree, the Mutant Leader fight is great. It's about as brutal as I can take Batman before I stop rooting for him but it hits that sweet spot and has plenty of great lines.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Ok. The Mutant Leader fight tracks. Bruce fought stupid the first time, trying to match him in strength.
The second time, he used better tactics and took advantage of the terrain, and just fought plain dirty.
That wouldn't track in dragon ball...well it might, but first you would need to have enough ki. If you don't any tactics you could come up with are worthless.
One Strip! One Strip! The only viable tactics in DB are some variation of "use a technique that gets around power" like the Mafuba or Buu's regeneration.
The only recent exception I can think of was the Hit V Dypso battle which was actually fairly reasonable in tactical terms.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Heh thats why I said he'd need the Hellbat suit or the Doomsday virus to even the gap even if thats a whole different universe.
Now I'm thinking how funny it be if Batman fought Goku & Vegeta would be because the latter 2 would be so annoyed with the former. Batman's strategy especially against someone stronger is to hide in the shadows first chance he gets so Goku would be annoyed & consider the fight not fun while Vegeta would be pissed facing someone who fights like a "coward".
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."They're apparently adding cosmetic costumes for the non-CaCs.
This song needs more love.Well not evenly but he was something that can help him get a good punch in. The Hellbat suit introduced in the Batman and Robin comic where in a quest to revive his dead son Bats invades Apokolips & battles Darkseid.
Though he did not win he simply survived only getting a couple good blows & then leaving once he got what he wanted after almost dying.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Didn't mean a whole lot in the end though, but they get rid of Piccolo so...yay?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Most fights have viable strategies in them.
And in real life, defining strength is a lot harder so you can't definitely say what level is 'twice' as strong as another person. It's not sometjing you'd see often in professional fighters due to weight classes though.
You also don't have superhuman strength in real life. Once you add that in, the limits for differences in strength become a lot bigger than what you'd see for real life fighters and 'skill' doesn't cover the same gap.
Shin is still a god, even if he's a weak one. I feel even weaker gods are stronger than Freeza to some extent.
Also, re-reading the Universe 6 Tournament arc...huh, Vegeta's final push to Cabba to turn Super Saiyan is the same exact line he used when he killed Nappa, he even tried to kill him the same way.

Even before BOG, I never got the impression he did, though he'd be getting close toward the end.
But it's not necessary for hus base form to surpass Freeza for the manga's escalation.
I find it odd that Toriyama had BOG establish that base Goku didnt surpass Freeza, but jumped right to having ROF Goku surpass a powered-up Freeza without either's new forms.

You know, if the "Mysterious Youth" really is Fu/Fuunote , he might be the perfect foil for Time Patroller Trunks. A scientist for a mom, a signature sword user, a knack for messing with time for a purpose. Heck, both are introduced late into a story as unknown, yet powerful youths.
All we need now is Fuu dispatching a prominent figure in a Crazy Awesome mastery of his power, like F.Trunks versus Mecha Freeza, and we'll be set.
