"unique visual flair" - they're green. That's literally the only unique thing about them.
"his ultimates are basically nuke bombs" - so... like every really strong Ki attack then?
"over the top brutal wrestling style" - I remember him doing one or two good lariats, but look at the moment where he dodges Goku and Piccolo trying to hit him by just swaying. They can't even bother to be consistent in how he moves.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Broly never ever fired a beam. Every attack he chucks like a grenade.
His move-set is the very literal definition of grenade spam.
He also uses Ki body explosions too.
Ooooh I don't recall that but that's good too.

They are always a treat to see & boy are they gonna look amazing in Fighter Z.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Discounting that every Ki fighter technically has an energy field around them...
loads of people pull that trick, thinking of Cell and Android 17 specifically.
Broly is basically everything wrong with DBZ summed up. He has zero personality, zero charm, his powers are both saiyan wank *and* never properly explained *and* uninteresting, his backstory is atrociously bad, and he's produced one half decent film and two godawful ones.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Broly fights with lots of grapples, clotheslines, and slams, giving him more unique choreography than many other fighters in the series.
He was an interesting idea, especially with his Sun Wukong sumbolism, but the execution left much to be desired and the sequels/extra what-if forms have added nothing to him.
But, as far as movie villains go, he's fine. They don't have a huge impact on the grand scheme of things, except for him leading to Kale (admittedly, that's worthy of criticism
).
On another note, despite him being hailed as "everything wrong with Z" he's very different from the usual DB villains. Very, very much so - not many share his physique, style or straight-forwardness. He's more like a scapegoat for those that want to levy easy criticism against Z.

Huh never thought of that. Yeah his movie is noticeably different especially since most of the Z films follow the same general plot.
Man Broly is a legend. I only wish he could be made canon so he can finally be done right.
Though considering its Super were talking about maybe its for the best we just be content with Kale.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Broly is no worse than other movie villains that aren't named Beerus. They all either don't have much to them or are rehashes of main villains and the sheer vitriol hurled towards him specifically is only because of how popular he is.

This song needs more love. The best thing about Broly is that coffins and handicaps are the same thing to him...

Yeah, I really don't get it when people complain about the dub soundtracks because at the end of the day, most of the Z movies are really fucking boring outside the fights.
x4 Cooler had a wicked design and was actually different enough from his brother to be interesting in his own right that I almost wish they made him canon in Super than having Frieza as the Token Evil Teammate, and Doctor Wheelo was pretty unique for a Z villain.

Oozaru Broly is in Dragon Ball Fusions but we don't really get a good indication of what he's like because he's under the control of Towa.
