I do agree on the Buu Saga discussion; I think the arc would have been better if Toriyama didn't get cold feet about leaving Gohan the protagonist. Both Goku and Vegeta got really good sendoffs that I think concluded their stories satisfyingly. Gohan "graduated" from being Piccolo's student and now Goten and Trunks were in that role.
ike hell, just thinking about it; In an alternate reality where it's Gohan Black who is terrorizing Future Trunks' world. That's would've been more fitting and tragic.

Grandpa Gohand vs. Kid Kakarrot...
Swinging him around by the tail to the point it broke off...harsh.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Omega Shenron's Dragon Thunder made me cringe when I first saw it.

Damnit, I made that joke already!
Also, Super's been getting a little ballsier as of late. They still shy away from showing blood, but Freeza's torture of Roselle and Cabba was pretty brutal, Saonel and Pirina got impaled on a Makankosappo, and Jiren dislocated Goku's shoulder, which he put back into place on-screen.
Toyotaro sketched some new Supreme Kais
. Will Shin be looking for replacements for his late comrades, maybe?
Ya know watching the add for Toonami's next episode of Super I can't help but laugh at how Goku & Chi-Chi are nearing 50 yet Goten looks like he was born only a couple years ago.
Like solely looking at how young Goten looks by the time he'll be out of the house his parents will be in their late 60's to early 70's.
And that's not getting into when Bulma had Bulla.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Assuming that Goku and Vegeta stayed dead and assuming that there was no epilogue, if Super was still made the first thing that would happen would be bringing them back.
This song needs more love. That'd be lame, though.
Also, if Gohan had stayed the hero in the manga to the end than that likely would have stuck. The marketing at the time was more than happy to support him, one of the fighting games even made Goku a secret character because it focused entirely on Gohan.
Although... if GT had stuck with Gohan and still received the negative reaction it did, that might cause the revival to focus on bringing Goku back. They brought back Freeza after all.
It's hard to say what GT would do. They turned Goku into a kid, and had the initial goal of 'go back to our roots' but mostly abandoned that and tried to make changes with its cast like a true continuation. Maybe with Gohan they wouldn't attempt to go in that direction.
GT might have been a Goten show at first.
He's basically Kid Goku 2.0. Throw in Kid Trunks and Pan and you have a nice little trio.
Actually, that would have been pretty cool. DB would have been Goku's story, Z Gohan's story, and GT Goten's story.
