Yuya Takahashi, the freelance animator and artist with his 90's Z-era aesthetics in ep.110 and ep.114, is coming back for ep 122. He revealed that he had only three weeks to make ep.114 look as polished as it did.
However
, he still isn't a mainstay on the show just yet, as he has commitments to Fairy Tail and Lupin the Third to deal with. Plus, he's a freelancer.

Since I'm completely biased, I'm gonna say that he should dump that first commitment.

His stuff looks great. Also, I knew that the Goku/Freeza flashback was a cut above the norm, so it's great to see that it's because of a guy with real talent.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"I'm guess people want Karrot to beat up God Kid.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. They literally cannot without risking being erased on the spot. Even if they did, they'd still be erased and thars the end of it.
Hard to challenge a sociopath when he's somewhat omnipotent.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Hence why I also added 'or opposed to him,' meaning that they would stop him if they could and think this situation is terrible. I will admit right now that I could be wrong on this but it seems like Goku is basically okay with this and that the others at the very least don't fully understand/accept the full ramifications of this.
I'm hoping something is being build-ed up to something about this cause this is a rather depressing situation.
Well never could really oppose but now their finally experiencing Zeno's I'll say "lack of empathy" full force now so hopefully if they survive they don't take their survival in stride.

That's a complaint many have had. In general, the characters' attitudes have not matched up with the stakes at all. Several characters have straight up said that they don't care if their universe is destroyed.

This song needs more love.Particularly 17 & 18 who still maintain their too cool for school attitudes despite being characterized as loving family people.
Ya think a loving father & mother would react in horror at their families being killed in a universal disintegration wave & would immediately jump at the chance to change it without any other benefit.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Way over that, yes. Closer to 100 times stronger, if the series was consistent with the manga's powers.
The fact that U. Gohan has apparently powered up and Piccolo has recently been portrayed as closer to base Gohan's level means the gap should be even bigger if anything.
But as I said, they've consistently portraying him as at or around base Gohan's level throughtout Super, save for one episode. Which makes him even weaker.
And he trained for 7 years straight while Gohan slacked off and still couldn't catch up to Gohan's regular Super Saiyan form. For him to make great gains now with less time to train would be hella inconsistent.
@slimcoder
And you'd think that the fighters would fight a lot more seriously considering their situation but instead we get jokes about transformation scenes and perversion. Dragon Ball was never all that serious but it seems as though that everyone including the writers for that the characters are fighting for the sake of their world. If they wanted a regular tournament arc, then make a regular tournament arc and not some pseudo battle royale where the stakes don't really matter at all.
Edit: I think I might getting frustrated over nothing.

"Mai waifu."Gohan's hidden powers are supposed to be far beyond Piccolo, even with training.

What-if....the stakes do matter?
Then nothing matters.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That kind of logic is incredibly simplistic and still makes it inconsistent.
And with Gohan's multiple transformations and huge power increase, he should be more than one tier above Piccolo even if such a They Just Didn't Care system was being used.
I wouldn't use any tiers that are so incredibly simple as to not make in-universe or consistent sense.
But each transformation would logically be in its own tier, and other characters have various forms that would fit between Piccolo and Gohan.
Which is why trying to sum them up into tiers is rather pointless, each character would be their own tier and you may as well just go back to keeping track of their individual strength levels.
How about instead of keeping track of their power levels - which hasn't been done legitimately since Freeza's *second form* - we have a bunch of characters with broad strengths and weaknesses?
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"

I'm sure it's coming. El Grande Padre is far too shifty.
