I'm sorry, you're skeptical of what? The actual, factual numbers in the Daizenshuu? Are they fake news?
My various fanfics. The Daizenshuu also says that Goku didn't get any stronger from the Cell to Buu Sagas, going from 60,000,000 in base and 3,000,000,000 in SS1 in the Cell Saga to 24,000,000,000 in SS3 in the Buu Saga... which still works out to a base of 60,000,000. Yeah, I'm a little skeptical.

This song needs more love.Maybe. It sounds like something he just came up with in the spur of the moment honestly.
...Is he saying the first known Super Saiyan and the Super Saiyan God are the same dude?
Don't buy it. Once again, Piccolo was at most doing scratch damage when he was much closer to Nappa. Something don't add up.
One Strip! One Strip!Piccolo didn't get many hits in. When he did, he injured Nappa.
When he used a big attack, Nappa dodged it.
Gohan, Piccolo and Kuririn were all able to injure Nappa while below his battle power. It's not as simple as being stronger lets you no-sell the opponents attacks, it depends on the difference in strength and the attack used.
Nappa's strongest attack could injure Goku. A normal KHH from Goku matched it. That's consistent with Goku being stronger (also - we've seen Goku can be injured by his own Kamehameha, so that's also consistent there).
Those didn't come from the guidebooks. They were a spread in Shonen Jump accompanying the beam struggle of Goku and Vegeta, and appear to be the Saiyan arc incarnations of Popo and God.
Presumably, this is Popo after training with the humans. God's getting old.
Being printed alongside the manga during the manga's original run is pretty legit.
Yo, what the fuck, that lore though?!
Toriyama straight-up confirmed the "Super Saiyan inheritance" theory.
I'm really confused about Toriyama's wording in the Saiyan story. So Yamoshi, a good Saiyan, fought against evil Saiyans with 5 comrades. Sounds like the Super Saiyan God story. So Yamoshi is cornered and becomes a Super Saiyan, but he's eventually defeated. His dead spirit wanders the Universe looking for 6 good Saiyans, and that somehow leads to Super Saiyan God. Still doesn't address the Super Saiyan 1,000 years ago who destroyed the Saiyan homeworld, but maybe that's just been retconned out of existence. I have to wonder if Toriyama didn't mean to say "Yamoshi became a Super Saiyan God" and his ghost wandering the universe was supposed to not find any other good Saiyans, just manipulate Beerus through his dreams into finding them for him.
Weird, considering I recently was thinking about how I'd do the Super Saiyan God thing and fold it into the original Super Saiyan legend. My idea went like this: 1,000 years ago, a bunch of low-class good Saiyans wanted to fight against the evil Saiyan king. While the king and his elites were attacking a city as Oozaru, the low-class Saiyans had one of their own go Super Saiyan God. The God fights the Oozaru and has the king cornered, but the king goes Super Saiyan. The battle between the two is epic but the God runs out of time and loses. The king then destroys the planet, unable to control his Super Saiyan power.

Because Goku and Chi Chi have Tohoku dialects in the original Japanese, am I the only one who wants to hear Sean Schemmel and Cynthia Cranz talk like hillbillies? It would certainly make Chi Chi's rants about Gohan's education all the more entertaining.

Since lung diseases are not Super Saiyans, ergo they cannot defeat Frieza.
