"The amount of disgust I have at the amount of disgust some people have towards Ribrianne is immense. I happen to really like her, and the sheer lengths some people will reach to portray her as some kind of irredeemable and disgusting monster makes me sick to my stomach and fills me with rage. Also, the almost perverse pleasure some people get from her being eliminated sickens me. I felt that she was really cool in this episode, got eliminated in a badass and fitting way, and the lesson she learned was very well done (even if her having this flaw kind of came out of nowhere). "
Did you forget how she murdered two people in cold blood just because they questioned her fighting skills? And don't say that she didn't kill them because we clearly saw them get vaporized.
jjjYeah, I'm sure the technicolor background meant that what we were seeing there was exactly the reality of the situation. It's a Magical Girl attack sequence, okay, it's not uncommon for those to show the opponent explode into a puff of smoke, only to fall down dazed and very much alive in the next shot in reality.

Character = dislike
But too much dislike = bad
I think I get the mojo around here
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.
ing this to ask something that still bugs me to this day.
Why doesn't Goku Black count as Wicked Cultured? Not only is he basically Zamasu in a Goku skin (who, in turn, counts as an example), he named his Super Saiyan form after a type of wine (as opposed to calling it Super Saiyan Pink, or Super Saiyan Rose, or anything other than Super Saiyan Rosé that links to the color pink).
With all that said, how does he not count as Wicked Cultured?

Yeah, that's the thing. He only manages to be a threat because of stupid forced gimmicks. Plus destroying the barrier should be a rule violation and, if not, it should be instantly replaced. Also, what's with it being weak enough to destroy? The whole justification for it was to keep the audience safe, yet it can't even stand up to Vegeta yelling? And the real reason for it was to limit Vegeta's movement, yet it was left weak enough for Vegeta to break at his leisure.
Also, why is heat or lava even a threat to Vegeta? And how can Magetta take that kind of pummeling? Vegeta is a planet buster times at least a million. That being said, Vegeta should have lost the moment he touched the ground outside the arena. I don't care that he was technically stepping on a piece of debris, he was clearly outside the ring.
Oh yeah, and the fact that Vegeta is only using SS rather than at least SS2 also really undermines the threat level Magetta poses. The obviously stronger opponent sandbagging to make things more dramatic is lame. It's like the earlier tournaments where Goku or whoever would hold back just so Krillin or Yamcha could look good for a minute or two.

That being said, she's an annoying character but hardly the most annoying character ever. And her getting batted around this episode was funny more because of how cartoonish it was than because I have some undying hatred of Ribrianne (or just Brianne, I guess).
