I was hoping someone would have brought up the video, cause it got me thinking on how I think Super would probably handle arcs for them (I was surprisingly on the mark with how they handled the To P Potora stuff so I figured I'd actually voice my predictions this time around.) So for Tien, I think the best opportunity is shortly after this arc concludes, we'd see Tien training, as he does, with Chaotzu and Yamcha. But something feels off, he's just not as into the training as he was. Thinking on it he realizes that the tournament and Gokus Ultra instinct showed him how little his training has accomplished, he isn't getting stronger training the way he is, he's met his limits and just stopped. So he decides to work towards breaking his limits like Goku had, be it learning the ultra instinct himself, or studying under a new master. His growth doesn't need to bring him up to The Saiyans level because he's not trying to surpass anyone but himself. Seems like the sort of arc for a character like Tien to take on. For Piccolo I'd say he could have an arc where he goes to visit U6 Namek while Vegeta and Goku are visiting Sadala. There Piccolo learns that U6 namekians have a different method of getting stronger that doesn't involve fusion, some sort of ritualistic battle that strengthens both of the fighters while also strengthening their bond so they can fight together better, Piccolo decides to try this ritual and selects Gohan(who lets be honest, also needs the leg up.) I realize this wouldn't quite work as a long time arc, but it'd either bring Piccolo back up to a point where he can become more relevant in future plots thanks to the power boost (without just resorting to namekian fusion) OR give Piccolo a sort of END to his arc, which I feel kindof never happened unless you count his whole nameless namekian speech which kindof got sidelined because "Cell OL"

What does Piccoro do if not dote on the young ones...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So I've watched the controversial "Ki in the back scene", and I really don't get it.
Cabba, in trying to teach another saiyan how to turn super, suggested an alternate method, as drawing out other people's anger isn't his specialty, unlike say, the ruthless planetary exterminator Vegeta. In playing with these methods he ended up creating a monster intent on killing him that is not at all Broly...
...uh, what's the problem? I mean beyond the fact I actually binged through five Dragon Ball Super episodes on The Green Corn Festival Day Of Thanksgiving? I thought that was comedy gold, pun not intended.
Hell, I had been making jokes about how almost everything from the "AF" fan works has happened in some form or another at this point but now the non serial movie villains are popping up? I guess that there's another Freezer (dog?) in Frost and Frieza has a "new" form, so Cooler covered. Evil Goku and new saiyan similar but highly contrasted to one we know, Turles covered. Modified warriors and guy who can't beat Goku who wants his body, Weelo covered. So maybe we will see a king addicted to gemstones? A megalomaniac vampire? A demon space pirate? A reality warping oni? An idol brought to life? Zamasu actually succeeded in usurping a god's position, but as soon as someone tries that and fails we can say Garlic Jr covered!
Buldogue's lawyerThe problem is the Saiyans who are more familiar with the form were apparently unaware of this, and never tried to teach anyone this way.
We saw Goku teach Gohan, and Vegeta teach Cabba. They used anger because they didn't know of any other way.
Cabba's method was way easier and comes out of nowhere.
Cabba's also a universe six saiyan, so their might be some differences. Cabba's also experimentation almost got him killed too. Maybe the more experienced saiyans knew anger was the best method, or knew a power spike that has the oh so stable ingredients of "pure heart" in a universe where Pure Is Not Good and rage in a species known for its lust for battle is something best not to experiment too much with? A "I know I felt like smashing planet Namek when I achieved it this way, but I didn't, so I'll teach my son this way. We'll work on whatever else once he has it under control" kind of deal.
Oh, and I guess since Zamasu successfully stole a Goku's body he's technically better than Weelo. A better Weelo and a better Garlic Jr in one...two packages? That had to be on purpose!
Buldogue's lawyerIf they had gotten the form the traditional way, would it really have been better? Honestly the idea that anger = insta-Super Saiyan is equally dumb in my opinion. The other problems are bad but how they got the forms isn't really anything worth getting super worked up over.

This song needs more love.Saiyans don't get angry every single time they transform, so presumably there must be a method to transforming unrelated to anger that they use every other time. Goku and Vegeta just assume that anger is needed to trigger the transformation the first time and they spread this misinformation because they didn't know any better.
Cabba tried inciting anger, but when that didn't work he talked about how it feels to transform, and apparently going Super Saiyan feels like gathering and tensing energy into your back. When Caulifla grilled Goku on this, he even confirmed that it does kind of feel like that. I see no problem here, and I never have.

Masako did a bring up a good point concerning Piccolo, dude has essentially devolved into being Gohan's Satellite Character in Super.
