Well, I hope you stick with Super Arha. It's got it's ups and downs.
I'm both looking forward to your gleeful snark, and genuinely wondering if you'll mention any parts you like...or just give us more gleeful snark.
Either way, fun times are in store, and I for one welcome our new overlord am curious to see what you think.
At least read the manga if the Anime isn't your thing Arha. Its not as exciting at certain points, and its monthly but it does try to fill in holes left by the Anime and the art is much more consistent. Plus, you don't have to listen to voices.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah. The manga is a good alternate interpretation for the most part.
I've been looking at both in order to get a full picture of just what was in the outline Toriyama created for the series.
I do wish he'd been more concrete on what he wanted in there rather than just saying here's a thing. Go nuts.
One Strip! One Strip!Technically, he didn't. 112 to 116 goes from 24 minutes remaining in the ToP to 17. The video should've been 7 minutes long, not 11 and a half. I also noticed that the timer was slower than normal constantly in the video to try and hide this.
It's still an impressive feat of editing, but it's not as impressive as the other videos where the person actually did stick to the Real Time idea.

Here's how I'd rate all the shows in the franchise on a scale of 1 to 9 (I love Dragon Ball to death, but nothing in it is worth a 10/10... so far), 5 is average:
9: Dragon Ball manga (includes Z manga).
8: Dragon Ball anime, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super anime, and Battle of Gods.
7: Original Z anime, Dragon Ball Super manga, and Ressurection 'F'.
6-4: all the movies prior to Battle of Gods slot into this range somewhere.
3: Dragon Ball GT.
1: Dragon Ball Evolution.
Nothing in the franchise is worse than GT but better than Evolution. Closest would be the Budokai-clone licensed Evolution game, but I wasn't including games.
EDIT: Actually, I take it back. The other two live-action Dragon Ball movies can be at #2.

Topic change:
Um, Arha, if you are still here, you should probably skip this since there are some spoilers.
Interesting to here him say Goku didn't earn Super Saiyan, but I suppose it's true he did just stumble across it, where as the others he says earned it (Trunks, Gohan, Vegeta) knew it was a thing and actively worked towards it. I'm on the fence about that one.
One Strip! One Strip!Even if it didn't...?

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Super is definitely a step down from DB and Z. I'm not sure if the TOP has people in good spirits or what, but Super has serious flaws in power scaling that the original series just didn't have- and that's not to mention the initially abhorrent animation quality and the pretty large story inconsistencies when comparing Super to previous series.
Like, Z wasn't godlike or anything but there's a lot of aspects that Super is lacking in when comparing it to the original series.
That isn't to say Super isn't enjoyable in it's own right, and Super does get really good when it gets good.
Also are you watching the movies or the anime? The BOG movie is a lot better than the anime imo, but there really isn't any way to salvage the mess that was Resurrection F despite the efforts that the dub made.
