After Kafla, Ribrianne and the bugs are pretty much the only remaining non-U7 or U11 fighters who have any sort of hype to them. I'm beginning to think that the end of the tournament won't necessarily mean the end of the arc.

This song needs more love.I mean, tell that to Vegito and Gotenks.
Base Khalifa was already demolishing God-ku. Times that by 100.
Goku was able to fight Beerus with God, and Whis suggested that if Goku and Vegeta worked together using Blue they might be able to beat Beerus.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Oh hey, another
Freeza saga callback in Episode 116. I forgot to mention this one.
I've seen people compare Kefla's attire to a yoga outfit. The fusion's wearing Kale's makeshift sports bra and Caulifla's Hammerman pants with the air sucked out. Wait...

I'm starting to think they only merged the two together so they can justify using Kelfa as a Composite Character for both of them. Similar to what Gotenks is for Goten and Trunks.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I could see Berserker Kale and Kafla being two seperate characters in future games.
This song needs more love.
x3: Yeah, besides hijakcing Kale's power with her own, Kefla is Caulifla without the breaks. Really, the only sign of Kale I could see, personality-wise, was that one-moment of hesitance from witnessing Goku being down for the count.
But on that note, someone on Kanzenshuu made a similar comment (stating that Kefla should have been the teased female Saiyan all along), using the following reason:
[Kefla] has great potential and when finally able to let go of her inner doubts fully realizes he potential through her LSSJ form but is initially unable to control. This causes a character crisis mid-tournament in the realization that she is a monster. Her cocky attitude begins to crack showing her inner fragility, however through continuing to struggle in the tournament, the realization that her followers are counting on her she decides she must gain control of herself and emerges in her new form, confident in both her abilities and potential.
Granted, I like the idea. At the same time, I don't mind them being separate characters due to their individual traits being sufficient enough to expand upon, and mentor/mentee chemistry works.
Then again, I'm sure Kale would love for a Steven Universe-type situation regarding long-term fusions.

She's not as self-centered about it as Kafla is. Caulifla is all about geeking out over how cool Goku's new forms and power are. Kafla is all about hyping her own power up. The difference is between confidence in your own future power vs confidence in the power you have in the moment. The latter comes from Kale's character development making herself more confident in who she is.
Ha thats funny.
Hmmmh okay while Kale does homage a lot of Broly's shtick I think there's enough differences between the two. Broly would be permanently in his Legendary state while you can make Kale's controlled/mastered state her default form & make her Legendary/Berserker state a temporary power-up like Goku's SS 3 form, Frieza's Golden Frieza form, or Blue Goku going King Kai Fist.
Besides a lot of the Saiyan's kinda play the same anyway.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So, finally back after almost a month of being one episode behind bringing some thoughts to the table: I find it interesting that Whis isn't so excited to see UI returning so soon, he looks worried, even, particularly when mentioning how he didn't expect Goku to access it again so soon (which in-universe is like what, 5 minutes since he last got it?)
I wonder if the offensive flaw was present in the fight with Jiren too, I don't remember him landing too many hits on Jiren in that fight and with Jiren it's hard to tell what damages him.
If Gokus incomplete Ultra Instinct form IS all defensive I kindof hope Vegeta gets an all offense Form when trying to catch up just so we can see how that'd be different.
That Ki skating moment was amazing, say what you will about Supers writing overall, all I ask for is more moments like that, and the plot can go right out the window.
Kefla was alot better executed than I expected, much like bringing Frieza and Master Roshi's role in the team in were. Kinda wish she was just defused and not outright eliminated since we're running low on interesting opponents and Gohan and the Androids haven't gotten their big fights yet.
Though on that note, I'm hoping for the u7 Saiyans versus U11 Pride troopers, wonder if Gohan brought his Sayaiman watch... Wait could Gohan get eliminated because the Xenos don't think the Saiyaman transformation is cool and thus count the watch as a tool that breaks the rules? I can't decide if that's too troll-ish for the To-crew or not.

Hey ya got your good parts & your bad parts in a fandom.
Nothing you can do about it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
