Honestly, the more I think about it, the more it seems obvious that Kafla being as ridiculously strong as she is, stronger than God Goku in base, is going to get some kind of explanation next episode. If it doesn't, then I'll complain, but I'm going to wait until next week before I stress out too much trying to figure it out.
As for what that explanation is, I could actually see them going with what I theorized: that Caulifla and Kale's close relationship made their Potara fusion insanely powerful, or something similar.

Okay but what if Gohan Blanco and Ultra Instinct Shaggy fused? I'm pretty sure nothing could beat that.
This song needs more love. It's kinda up in the air. That depends on if Toriyama realized that Goku winning the tournament would be a the biggest surprise, considering his desire to avoid doing the obvious.
Then again, it's not just. He's also a self admitted contrarian, so if people want Goku to win, he might very well decide to have him lose again just because. You can never tell with that guy. I'm not sure if he's too predictable, or unpredictable.
True, but as we've seen, being tired doesn't mean much if you're still monumentally stronger than the other guy.
A half dead Piccolo was still leagues about a completely fresh Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha in the 23rd Budokai. For a more recent example, a very tired Frost was still so far ahead of Piccolo that Goku flat out said the latter stood no chance.

One Strip! One Strip!I know this comes up as a joke alot, but I honestly think no one bothered to ask. I'd say the only real glaring case of "Goku should have taught it to someone" was during the 3 years he trained with Gohan and Piccolo to prep for the androids.
In the case of his year with Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, that time was spent instead on trying to master the Super Saiyan transformation.
Vegeta would never ask Goku to teach him that or Kaioken, because of "Blah blah saiyan pride blag blah."
The funny thing is that even if he'd taught it to Gohan and Piccolo during that time, it would have been useless in the initial battles because the Androids have no Ki to sense.
Now, against imperfect Cell, when they were trying to track him...there, it would have helped a hell of a lot.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
Which is weird since Frost should have been strong enough to just waste Piccolo in seconds, exhausted or not.
One Strip! One Strip!Do you mean these lines?
Sub:
Frost: You didn't know how I fight. That's why you lost... Mr. Strategist.
Dub:
Frost: You can tell yourself that but we both know who really won. Turns out underestimating me was your big mistake... Mr. Resourceful.
In context the deceiving is referring to Frost being a cheater, not sandbagging his fight.

Except Goku has sandbagged during every tournament in Dragon Ball; seriously, if a half-dead Piccolo was still stronger than Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien, then why didn't a healthy Goku knock Tien out of the ring in less than a second, even with training weights on?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!

You mean El Hermano.
