I think whether base Kafla being stronger than God Goku is acceptable or not depends on how much of a difference there is between God and Blue. We know that next episode Kafla is going to transform into a Super Saiyan form that's some kind of combination of Caulifla and Kale's Super Saiyans. We also know that this form is going to be stronger than Super Saiyan Blue, enough so that Goku needs to use Kaioken.
Also, remember how Goku and Vegeta's Potara fusion back in the Buu Saga was stronger than normal because they're rivals, commonly dubbed the "rival boost"? Maybe Kale and Caulifla got a "true love" boost that completely dwarfs the rival boost.
Even then, I think the 10% thing is in discontinuity now, since Beerus is apparently still stronger than Goku even after a Kaioken Blue x10, and possibly even after a x20, so there's really no way in Hell what he showed against Quake of Fury Vegeta was "10%" of his power.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!It's just a theory. I'm just trying to find ways this makes sense, and "Super Saiyan God is way weaker than Super Saiyan Blue" combined with "Kafla is way stronger than the average Potara fusion because of The Power of Love" is the most plausible theory I've got going here.
Saw the episode. I agree with those who said this entire fight has been needlessly drawn out and inconsistent.
Really, even having them fuse from the beginning and kicking Goku's ass would have been better than this.
And the more they try and lay on the emotion with Kale and Caulifla the less I care about their relationship. The point has been made, now they're just overdoing it.

Yeah it's nice that Tien gets remembered, unlike some other people.

It was pointed out to me, but Caulifa and Kale kind of come off as the protagonists to Goku's more antagonistic role here.
That said, I don't care as much about Caulifa and Kale as the show wants me too, so I'm not really inclined to cheer for them here despite them being pushed into a corner like this.
Honestly, it would have been better for Freeza to fight them. At least I'd have a reason to cheer them on.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.

They only established that his line about using 100% power against Goku was a lie. They didn't establish if he used 70% power like he did in the movie, but they did have him state that he used 10% of his power against Vegeta earlier.
