I don't mind Caulifa and Kale anymore because frankly, they should have been this strong upon introduction anyway. By extension I don't take issue with their fusion's performance.
But this pacing is sad. No a lot happened that needed 3 episodes to cover, and now we learn this is going to run into March? When the climax started a month ago?
In other news, no one screams as good as Sean Schemmel does.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.@Saiga That's part of why it bothers me. If Champa knew this was allowed, then why wouldn't others do it? If he did know it was, how did he know it? This is a premeditated action prior to "It looks cool, we'll accept it!" It just... It creates more problems for me narratively than anything else. I wouldn't care if there wasn't rules specifically set to not allow it.
If rules being followed here, I feel they should've been erased immediately because Universe 6 failed to adhere to the warning not to break anymore rules.
@Melon That wasn't the climax. Just because Goku and Jiren fought doesn't make it the ending. Factoring in the time (how it reached the middle of the tournament) and everything that's followed, that's the midpoint twist. There's nothing pointing to us even being in Act 3 unless we're just assuming Goku and Jiren squaring off and the debut of Ultra Instinct has to be Act 3. The fact it wasn't the third act is what I feel makes it more interesting.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.Heh. That's pretty ridiculous.
I'm just gonna hand wave Kefla whooping God Goku (should we call him God-ku) as him still being tired despite being in God.
I also liked that line Kale gave (paraphrased): '' Blue? Red? Who cares? Lets kick his ass!
It's really a shame that after finally getting Female Super Saiyans in canon (after blatantly refusing to give the power up to Pan in video games) that they've become base breakers. We've all been waiting for this for so long.
One Strip! One Strip!Y'all keep saying Goku vs Kale and Caulifla has been a waste of three episodes, when it's only been two, and I know you all aren't implying that Kafla is going to be a waste of time when her episode hasn't even aired yet. 112 was all about Cabba. Caulifla only just showed up to fight Goku as a cliffhanger. Their fight against Goku has only been this episode and the last one, and there's been a consistent escalation of power throughout the two episodes.
First, base Goku vs SS2 Caulifla.
Then, SS2 Goku vs SS2 Caulifla.
Then, SS2 Goku vs SS2 Caulifla and Super Saiyan Controlled Berserk Kale.
Then, SS2 Goku vs SS2 Caulifla and Super Saiyan Berserk Kale (controlled)
Then, SSG Goku vs SS2 Caulifla and Super Saiyan Berserk Kale (controlled)
Now, granted, they definitely could've removed one or two of these steps and shortened the fight down to one episode, but it hasn't gone on nearly as long as some of you are exaggerating, and a two episode fight would be considered short back in the days of Dragon Ball Z.
@Handsome Rob: Funny enough, it was a nice callback to where Kahersal dismissed the semi-controlled Kale's power for the same color-changing hair gimmick.
In addition, the way Goku grabs Freeza, right when he was about to backstab him, is another callback
.

The main point of it dragging is that outside of Kefla forming, there's been no real flow to this fight. It's basically Caulifa and Kale coming at Goku, which we didn't need 2 and a half episodes for.
Have Goku fight Caulifa and Berserk Kale, and then save Kelfa for the cliffhanger and have Goku fight Kefla in the next episode. Bam.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.![]()
Still hasn't been two and a half episodes, you're factually incorrect on that. If anything, it's been closer to one and a half episodes of them fighting, what with the other character's fights, Goku scolding Freeza, Kale reigning in her Berserk form, and the birth of Kafla.

I've been dubbing this arc "The Callback Arc", which was probably the point. But hey, people were right, Tenshinhan's presence is still in the ring!
Also, for shame Gohan, gotta pick up on the Instant Transmission like Freeza and Caulifla did.

Ha ha ha. What a story, Mark.

Meh, base Kafla being stronger than God Goku is crazy, but it's not as crazy as base Vegetto doing damage to Merged Zamasu in the manga, so I'm fine with it.
Here's a theory: the Super Saiyan God form Goku can transform into at will nowadays is a lot weaker than Super Saiyan God Goku while fighting Beerus, which was much closer to how strong Blue is currently. Current SSG is weaker because it is an evolution of Saiyan Beyond God, not the original form.
Something like this:
SS3 Goku: 4
SBG Goku: 14
Current SSG Goku: 70
SSG Goku in Battle of Gods: 600
SSB Goku: 700
I'm just spitballing here, this isn't me asserting anything as fact, don't think I want to start any fights or anything.
