They'd have to achieve god ki, and that would be the ultimate asspull of the century.
Would make Caulifla getting SS 2 look like Shakespearean writing.
Because they forgot how numbers work.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Why is it that hard to accept that U6 saiyans are naturally stronger than average U7 saiyans. Yeah Goku and them went through insane training but they also started out very weak comparatively. U6 could be stronger overall since they are more a peacekeeping force and don't have tails to just Oozaru beings into submission. Which I feel hampered the average U7 saiyan since they seemed to get into less on par battles.
Oh my grief, that actually makes a lot of sense...
It probably isn't the case though...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It means that stuff can nearly kill them easier...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I personally don't care about how easy the transformations are anymore.
Actually, I prefer it this way. Because the amount of super saiyan forms they'd have to "earn" is ridiculous. Especially since instead of them each having their own uses, most of them are nothing but huger power boosters than the last. I feel like it would have been better if the forms like USS, ss2, and ss3 were all instead different characters versions of the same form, or each had a unique trait instead of just being more powerful, like SS 2 being super fast and SS 3 being magic based. But Super can't change that, so the next best thing is to just have the new characters be lucky enough to have an easier time unlocking the higher forms... and SS 3.. I guess.

Nothing. Super Saiyan isn't special anymore. It hasn't been special for a while now.

This song needs more love.I feel like Caulifla going SS2 could've been handled a little better in the same time frame and situation. Make it explicit that Caulifla achieves this transformation out of anger at Kale's misunderstanding of her and Cabba's relationship, combined with anger at Kale for not realizing how much she loves her. As it is, that's a plausible interpretation of the scene, but it's not even implicit or subtext, just headcanon.
Making Caulifla's Super Saiyan 2 transformation actually be linked to her feelings about Kale would go a ways towards fleshing out her side of their relationship, as well as create a more plausible reason for her to achieve the form than the reason she currently has.
"The Super Saiyan forms were never meant to be this thing that magically comes only once every thousand years, but that's more on Toriyama for not handling its lore better. If he did, no one would have a problem with the girls."
I've never thought that about the forms, I've never wanted that, and I still the girls are very poorly done
I got the impression that Cauliflas first time going SS 2 was like a survival instinct, sort of like how Gokus false supersayain was triggered or how Gohan got super sayain one. Since she wasn't able to figure out how to trigger it again, I'd almost say it's a perfectly good way to give her the form. The only problem was how goku didn't have to explain anything to her for her to figure it out. Maybe the manga or the english dub can fix that small detail, since they just needed to write one line along the lines of "Pushing your energy to a breaking point" or whatever the on switch for that form is.
Come to think of it, most of Supers problems are due to it trying to use vaguer parts of the lore with out making them less vague. I can't tell if they're afraid of upseting fans or if their trying to stay true to toriyamas style of only explaining the bare mininmum of whats going on.

Ever since the godly forms, the yellow Super Saiyan forms haven't really been a big deal, so I'm perfectly fine with the U6 Saiyans getting those forms just to catch them up a little and allow them some story relevance.
